I first discovered Yeouido Park in 2020, having moved to Seoul from the UK, and I was taken aback at how many locals headed to the park, especially on the weekend to relax, unwind, and just simply have a good time!

Right on one of the main subway lines, this riverside park has become much more than simply a park over the years.

Usually, when I head to the park, it's to experience the beautiful sunset over the Han River. Here, you can rent blankets, tables, mood lights, and anything you might need, from street vendors. During the peak times of the year, you will also be able to see many food stalls, and you can even order food directly from your spot in the park! For me, I like heading to the convenience store which is located on a boat. There you can buy ramen, snacks, beer, and many other drinks!

Most weekends, you will also see people busking or doing street performances making for an even more special memory! You can also enjoy some amazing fireworks shows during the summertime!
