  • SEVENTEEN’s 12th Mini Album SPILL THE FEELS Marks a Bittersweet Comeback with Jeonghan’s Absence

SEVENTEEN is back, and their 12th mini album SPILL THE FEELS will be released on October 14, 2024. The album has six emotionally driven tracks, including the highly-anticipated collaboration with DJ Khaled on “LOVE, MONEY, FAME". This mini album holds special significance for SEVENTEEN, as it marks their final group release before the members start their military enlistments. It promises a variety of emotions and sounds that reflect SEVENTEEN's growth artists. What to Expect From SPILL THE FEELS? The album features six tracks: “Eyes on You,” “LOVE, MONEY, FAME (feat. DJ Khaled),” “1 TO 13,” “Candy,” “Rain,” and “Water.” WOOZI is credited as the composer and lyricist for five of the songs, showcasing the members' deep involvement in the creative process. Each unit — hip-hop, vocal, and performance — contributed to their respective tracks. The vocal team's “Candy” has jazzy vibes, while the hip-hop team’s “Water” brings a more intense sound. The collaboration with DJ Khaled is generating excitement, blending R&B and hip-hop with SEVENTEEN's unique vocals. Jeonghan’s Absence and SEVENTEEN’s Emotional Journey As exciting as this comeback is, it’s bittersweet for fans. Jeonghan began his mandatory military service on September 26, 2024, meaning he won’t be part of the promotional events. He left a heartfelt message for CARATs on Weverse, reassuring them that he’ll stay healthy and support SEVENTEEN from afar. This album is a significant moment for the group, as it is the last one with all 13 members before more enlistments begin. The absence of Jeonghan has left fans feeling emotional, yet hopeful for SEVENTEEN’s future. The Road Ahead: SEVENTEEN’s Promotions and World Tour SEVENTEEN has been teasing fans with a highlight medley, concept images, and track samplers. Their unique approach to content keeps fans engaged, building anticipation for the album's release. This week, fans can also expect a special episode of Going Seventeen. Additionally, SEVENTEEN will kick off their RIGHT HERE World Tour at Goyang Stadium on October 12. They will continue performing across major cities in the U.S., Japan, and Asia, bringing their energetic stages to fans worldwide. CARATs, How Are You Feeling? With SPILL THE FEELS being the last album with all 13 members for a while, how do you feel about SEVENTEEN’s future? Which track are you most excited to hear? • Was former ADOR CEO, Min Hee Jin, offered money to leave the company?

Min Hee Jin claims HYBE offered her money to leave the company, but HYBE says she's lying. We take a deeper look into her recent interview and see if this was true! On September 26 KST, media outlet JoongAng Ilbo published an exclusive interview with Min Hee Jin, former executive director of ADOR .  Let's take a look at what was said during this infamous interview: In the interview, Min Hee Jin claimed, "After the court approved my injunction request to prevent my dismissal at the extraordinary board meeting in May, HYBE offered me money to leave the company. However, because my objective in this was not money, I refused." Min Hee Jin also added, "The core of this dispute has nothing to do with anything so grandiose as the growth of the company or improvement of the existing system. It is nothing more than a public execution ordered by the chairman of a parent company who felt emotionally offended by a subsidiary company."  According to Min Hee Jin, HYBE further attempted to "distort the truth"  about the success of  NewJeans in Japan and "sent articles slandering her reputation to overseas journalists."  In response to Min Hee Jin's claims in the JoongAng Ilbo interview, HYBE spoke up with the following rebuttals.  According to HYBE: 1. HYBE never offered Min Hee Jin money to leave the company 2. The internal audit was launched based on reliable evidence and was not 'illegally ordered' as Min Hee Jin claims. 3. Min Hee Jin and ADOR exercised more freedom from HYBE's interference and received more funding, support, quality treatment, and promotional assistance than any other sub-label. In other words, HYBE did not 'violate its promise to not interfere in Min Hee Jin's label', as claimed. 4. HYBE never sent articles to overseas journalists slandering Min Hee Jin.  5. Regarding the correction articles on NewJeans' album sales, HYBE only intended to clarify that the certification rewarded by the Recording Industry Association of Japan was based on the number of albums shipped, not the number of albums sold."  I have to say that I find all of this fairly childish and a way to stay present in the news, Yes, Min Hee Jin had a successful role in HYBE at the time, and citizens and bands such as NewJeans called for her to resign from that position due to her practices at work. After many months, she did resign and then NewJeans decided to ask her to be reinstated , in addition to asking their fanbase to help flood social media with this message. In my opinion, HYBE most likely did not like the bad press that it was receiving at that time and higher-ups in the company most likely offered her a cash bribe to leave the company. Min Hee Jin accepted the bribe and then resigned from her position. However, to publicly announce that she was "offered" a bribe by HYBE in an interview seems as if she is also trying to bring down the record label in whichever way she can since she is no longer able to work there. We do not know if HYBE will ever admit to bribing Min Hee Jin and, of course, there would highly likely be no evidence to trace back. What do you think? • What we really think about Disney+'s new action/romance drama "Red Swan"

Red Swan starring K-pop superstar Rain and Kim Ha Neul is a new Disney+ action/romance K-drama that took over our screens during its premiere on July 3, 2024! Is it worth watching? Here is what we really think! What is Red Swan? Red Swan tells the story of Oh Wan Soo ( Kim Ha Neul ), a woman born into a poor family, who turns her life around and becomes a world-class golfer, catching the attention of many people along the way, including her future husband, Kim Yong Guk, the heir to the Hwain Group. Struggling to pay off her mother's debts, Wan Soo agrees to marry Yong Guk, but soon after becomes unhappy when she finds out about her husband's affair. For over a decade, she has lived with her husband and is determined to make it work, but things begin to change quickly when she faces the biggest night of her life. Shortly after arriving in Manila Philippines. The lead actors Jung Ji Hoon or better known as Rain plays the main male lead role in this new drama. He gained his level of fame as an actor, model, dancer, and producer. His career began in 2003, which shows that he is more than capable of this new role. So far for me, I have been really captivated and impressed with his acting skills, and I can really feel his emotions. Kim Ha Neul has also bagged the lead female role in this new drama. She has to date an outstanding career which started back in 1998. With her acting skills, and experience captivating audiences she is more than suited for this role. For me, that has become obvious in many of her scenes so far. Here's a look at the story so far! (Spoilers!) What we know so far Later, on a trip to Manila, and for the first time as a Goodwill Ambassador, Wan Soo is caught in a gunfight, but narrowly escapes death thanks to the heroism of her company bodyguard, Seo Do Yoon ( Rain ). Soon after, Wan Soo develops feelings for Do Yoon and reflects on her life up until that night, but is unsure of what Do Yoon's true motivations are for working for the Hwan Group. My thoughts so far I think that since the drama is on Disney+ and along with other K-romance dramas, it's of course bound to have a feel-good factor and a happy ending, so you could almost predict how it would end. However, I think the storyline for this show is very interesting and it kept me engaged throughout. I am however perplexed by the low ratings for this drama, given its promising start in the first 2 episodes. I wish they drop the whole 10 series at once, which may have helped with the ratings and also my binge watching addiction, so that I could watch it overnight! The bodyguard-boss romance plot is captivating in my opinion. The chemistry between the leads is intense and evident. I love the fast paced flow of the story and yet it doesn't leave out any important details. We have a strong female lead in this drama which I liked. She isn't easily shaken by those difficult people around her, unlike other female lead roles in other dramas. Also being highly into action, I enjoyed the amount of action that was shown in many of the scenes, It helped to keep me engaged throughout. I cannot wait for the rest of the 10-part series, as so far I have been captivated and felt like binging this amazing new drama!! Have you watched Disney's new romance drama Red Swan ?
