LISA, born Lalisa Manobal on March 27, 1997, is a Thai rapper, singer, dancer, and global entertainer best known as a member of BLACKPINK. Recognized for her sharp dance performances, distinctive rap style, and commanding stage presence, she has developed a successful solo career alongside her work with the group.

LISA made her solo debut on September 10, 2021, with the single album LALISA, featuring the title track “LALISA” and the fan-favorite “MONEY.” Both songs helped establish her as a major solo force, showcasing her performance skills, confidence, and hip-hop-inspired sound.

In 2024, LISA launched her own management company, LLOUD, and entered a new phase of her solo career through a partnership with RCA Records. Her releases “ROCKSTAR,” “New Woman” featuring Rosalía, and “Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me)” led into her first full-length solo album, Alter Ego, released on February 28, 2025.

The album explores different sides of her artistic identity through a collection of pop, hip-hop, and dance-driven tracks, including collaborations with Doja Cat, RAYE, Rosalía, Megan Thee Stallion, Future, and Tyla.

Beyond music, LISA expanded into acting with her role in the third season of HBO's The White Lotus. Her influence also reaches fashion and luxury branding, making her one of the most recognizable figures at the intersection of K-pop and global pop culture.

In September 2026, LISA reached another major milestone when “Dream,” featuring Japanese actor Kentaro Sakaguchi, won Best Pop at the MTV Video Music Awards. She became the first Asian solo artist to win the category, adding another landmark achievement to her solo career.
