The global hit series phenomenon Extraordinary Attorney Woo has been confirmed for season 2! A statement made by Lee Sang Baek, the president of ASTORY, the production company for the drama confirmed the rumors on August 17, 2022.
"Thanks to the support of many people, we will be producing season 2 of Extraordinary Attorney Woo. Our hopeful golden time will be in 2024. Our goal is to have season 2 broadcast at that time."

Although we're not sure the core team will be kept, Mr. Lee stated that there will be a challenge to coordinate the schedules of the staff, but 90 percent of the cast and production staff will remain the same.
"It’s not easy to coordinate the schedules of the cast and production staff, so there will be lengthy discussions.
Our goal is to keep at least 90 percent of our cast and production staff. This will take a considerable amount of time to coordinate, but the plan to produce season 2 will not change."

In addition to season 2, Mr. Lee stated that the company will pursue other IP-related ventures related to the drama series, including a webtoon version launched earlier this month as well as Extraordinary Attorney Woo the musical.
Meanwhile, season 1 of the series is coming to an end as the final two episodes (15 and 16) are set to air on August 17 and 18 respectively.
