With a convoluted storyline, Delightfully Deceitful, at times, had us scratching our heads trying to figure out what was going on. The past and present kept switching back and forth as well as characters were also related to multiple companies, making it harder to keep up with who was hiding the cash and who was responsible for their crimes.

All in all, the good proved to overshadow the bad so we want to share three reasons why you should still watch it!

1. The chemistry between the leads is top-notch!

You can say what you want about the plot and the way the director decided to present it, but the chemistry between lawyer Han Moo Young (Kim Dong Wook My Perfect Stranger 2023) and genius scam artist Lee Ro Um (Chun Woo Hee Be Melodramatic 2019) is perfect! Chun Woo Hee poses as multiple people in this drama making her acting skills even more incredible. Kim Dong Wook, on the other hand, poses as a cool and collected hot-shot lawyer who can keep a straight face no matter what the situation is!

As the two characters become closer, we can feel their mutual respect for each other increasing. In the end, although it might not be love, you can wonder what might happen if they spend more time together without any interruptions.

2. The supporting characters are deep and intentional

No crime-fighting squad is complete without a super team who knows what they are doing! Backing Lee Ro Um with her amazing skills is also a team of super-skilled hackers, con artists, and thieves! The top three supporting characters Jung Da Jung (Lee Yeon), Na Sa (Yoo Hee Je), and Ring Go (Hong Seung Bum) really give a feel of what foster children's relationships might be if they had to go through rigorous crime training and tossed aside when their value was used up.

Each episode portrayed the team's caring attitude toward each other like brothers and sisters which was a joy to watch. Wouldn't it be nice to find friends that would have your back no matter what?

3. Great satisfaction of revenge!

The finale proved to be very satisfying as Lee Ro Um and her team hatches their last complex plan in catching Jay transferring money from his illegal bank account. Although it was a dangerous task, Ro Um and her team were willing to sacrifice their lives to catch the man behind their incredibly tough childhood.

The main characters still needed to serve time for the damage they caused while trying to catch a top-notch criminal, but it only made it more satisfying to see the last scene of Jay in a straight jacket staring at his isolated cell!
