The Glory has left so many people speechless and we can't deny that Song Hye Kyo's tremendous role as the tormented bent on revenge Moon Dong Eun played a huge contribution to the drama's success! Here are three amazing diverse roles we think equally rival Song Hye Kyo's acting in The Glory.
1. Descendent of the Sun
This classic is definitely one never to be forgotten on screen. I love everything about this movie, from the plot to the cast!
We see how passionate Song Hye Kyo's acting is here and how she carried the role in her heart. We can definitely say that she puts her all in romantic roles just as well as she does in revenge-themed roles.
Song Hye Kyo plays a passionate doctor volunteering her time and skills to help those in need and falls in love with an elite Army's special forces officer (Song Joong Ki). The two embark on a romantic relationship during constant breakups in their proposed "date times" due to the classified and urgent nature of their work.
This drama is a must-see!
2. Now, We Are Breaking Up
I personally loved this drama! It was full of break-ups and make-ups! We also saw the cold-hearted side of Song Hye Kyo. We see Song Hye Kyo as a trendy team leader of the design department of a fashion company called "The One". She slowly falls in love with a freelance photographer (Jang Ki Young My Roommate is a Gumiho 2021).
This drama also takes us into detail about what really goes on in the fashion industry.
Song Hye Kyo plays the role of a politician's daughter who got into an arranged marriage after she graduated from college. She later divorces her husband and becomes CEO of a hotel. She falls in love with a man she encountered in Cuba who ends up working for her hotel in Korea! The two are attracted to each other, yet only their fate will decide on whether they can end up being together.
I would love to describe Song Hye Kyo's role in this drama as
This drama definitely showed a different side of Song Hye Kyo which is why I recommend you give it a try!
Please let us know what other roles Song Hye Kyo also aced! Are there some of her early works that we're missing?
