Each year, the Seoul Metropolitan Government selects a color to represent the capital. For 2025, "Green Aurora" has been chosen. Let's take a look at this majestic color and theme for the new year! Image: Seoul Metropolitan Government Seoul Metropolitan Government have announced that "Green Aurora" will be the representative color of Seoul for 2025. The name and color means that the street trees, and street lights of the city upon an evening will boast this beautiful color! Its interesting that the city have chosen to use this for it's major attractions. For 2024 , the streets of Seoul saw a "Sky Corral" color light the sky at night, and the colors which are chose for selection each year are done so with in-depth analyzing through the daily lives and interests of citizens, through searching keywords like culture, entertainment, technology among others. We have previously seen some LED displayed Aurora lights, which have swept across the capital, as 2024 experienced a longer summer, and in parts of Europe and the UK the green aurora could be seen which was a rarity. Our Thoughts Coming from the UK, many of the street lights are turned off or dimmed down at night time these days, compared to five or six years ago, in order to save money and electricity for local Governments. So I believe that what Seoul Metropolitan Government are doing, is a great thing for the welfare and quality of live of it's citizens. What social media is saying! If you are visiting one of Seoul's major attractions, then right after sunset next year, you will be able to see the beautiful "Green Aurora" in action over some attractions such as Namsan Seoul Tower , Lotte World Tower , Gwanghwamun Square , and Seoul City Hall . If you haven't read Part 1 - this is the follow-up! This article was written up till episode 9! A little retrospective for ya! Min Woo - we are hoping that the relationship with Si Eun will bloom a little more but after his date with Gyu Ri we are not sure. Min Woo still seems to have his eyes on Si Eun but it seems a little cloudy after his date with Gyu Ri who has been a little back and forth with Min Woo as well! Si Eun - aside from the girls' ridiculous comments about their appearances, in terms of heart, Si Eun's feelings for Min Woo seem to be the purest that we can see on the show. Their romance developed quite naturally and their conversation and vibe together are so calm and blissful, we thought that these two had great potential as a couple and we are hoping that they will get a chance to blossom a little more without Gyu Ri in the middle of it. Won Ik - honestly, is it just us or does he look a little like V from BTS? Won Ik seems lovely, he's just a little quiet and we don't see him making "moves" per se. He stands out athletically more than people would have expected which is wonderful, we just don't see him connecting that deeply with anyone on the show at the moment. Maybe he's just having a chill island break which is cool too. Min Kyu - his feelings still stand strong for Gyu Ri and in our opinion, they match very well together and the way he looks at Gyu Ri, a lot of people have felt the butterflies for her. Gyu Ri does not seem 100% into him though so we will have to see how this plays out! Ha Bin - Ha Bin is not living up to his full potential on this show, he's a little quirky and we love that but it seems his expression of interest to Ha Jeong did not go as well as expected as Ha Jeong is still very fixated on Gwan Hee. Fun fact about Ha Bin - he's currently a character on the show My Demon! Ha Jeong - have you ever had a crush on someone that you don't really want to have a crush on but it takes time to maybe let go of those feelings? That's what we feel for Ha Jeong and her interest in Gwan Hee. She was very upset at the way he expressed his interest in three women at the same time which is totally understandable and we thought she and Hye Seon were over him and ready to move on but both still seem to have lingering feelings for Gwan Hee despite Gwan Hee not reciprocating. We are proud of Ha Jeong for expressing her feelings honestly to Gwan Hee so she wouldn't "regret" but we just wish she would have had someone more into her! Min Young - this girl is also another who appeared a little wishy-washy. She kept claiming that when on her date with Jin Seok in the pool it was a very "brother-sister" interaction but we don't know which siblings would ever interact like that, ever. Their date was very romantic and she was instigating a lot but then appeared to change her mind when she came back to the island. Jin Seok I guess took her actions as her being really into him and decided he would stick to her until she decided to give out four candies to other men which made him question her intentions. She is now very "into" Jin Seok only because he has caught the interest of Min Ji and went to paradise. Since Jin Seok is now pulling away she is clinging on more and making her situation a little worse but let's see how this will play out! Jin Seok - Perhaps our favorite guy on the show so far, Jin Seok expressed his feelings for Min Young initially but then changed after she expressed interest in other men. He changed a finally let go when he interacted more with Min Ji, the latest addition to the group. We can see a little confusion between them, as Min Young clings closer to Jin Seok, he pulls away but Min Ji shows her interest as well - we are CONFUSED. We are not sure how this will play out - Jin Seok seems interested in both girls despite telling Min Ji that he didn't have anyone he was interested in anymore, referring to Min Young. He still winks at her though and Min Ji still seems to be assessing her options! We have no clue with this one. Min Ji - the latest addition to the group who went on a two-man date with Min Woo and Jin Seok in which she seemingly showed more interest in Jin Seok but when she returned to the island the interest did seem to shift to Gwan Hee. Since she is a newcomer we don't really know where her true feelings lie! I guess we will have to wait to find out! Our thoughts This season has been all over the place, some scenes making us smile with cuteness, some making us roll our eyes, and some making us yawn, we're not sure this season is capturing the essence of Singles Inferno but hey, we have two more episodes to go! We're hoping for a little more excitement and perhaps a little more continuity and romance! Also, like the judges said can Ha Bin and Won Ik just go on a bromance trip to paradise? I feel like it would give us a little more excitement than what's currently happening! Are you watching Singles Inferno? What are your thoughts on this season? Students are forced to fight for survival as the virus rapidly spreads, turning people into aggressive zombies and we can't wait for more! As we anticipate Netflix's hit zombie series All of Us Are Dead Season2 we speculate how this new season will unfold! Image: All of Us Are Dead - thedirect.com Remembering Season One: A Recap Spanning just a few intense days and twelve episodes, All of Us Are Dead season 1 unleashed a rapid zombie outbreak in Hyosan, showcasing a sprawling cast and unique zombie evolution. Key events from this compressed timeline are crucial to remember, as they'll undoubtedly shape the upcoming season 2. Halfbies: The Unique Zombie Twist in All of Us Are Dead Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be half-human, half-monster? All of Us Are Dead takes that terrifying question and runs with it, introducing the unforgettable halfbies . These aren't just zombies; they're walking, talking, thinking threats. And with characters like Gwi Nam ( Yoo In Soo Study Group 2025) and Nam Ra ( Cho Yi Hyun Hospital Playlist 2020) leading the charge, season 2 is poised to be an emotional rollercoaster. Are you ready to face the horrifying truth? Nam Ra Ascendant: Full Control of Her Halfbie Powers The halfbie transformation, a curse and a gift, defined Nam Ra's journey in All of Us Are Dead . Though her powers were instrumental in protecting her friends, they also threatened to consume her. After months of solitude, she returns, seemingly in complete control, the absence of the red mark hinting at a deeper understanding of her abilities. What secrets does she now hold? So Ju's Ultimate Sacrifice: A Father's Love in All of Us Are Dead In a heart-wrenching act of paternal heroism, So Ju, On Jo's ( Park Ji Hu Little Women 2022) father, sacrificed himself in All of Us Are Dead to ensure his daughter and her friends' escape from the zombie-infested Hyosan High. His relentless journey to reach them, a driving force throughout the series, culminated in this ultimate act of love. So Ju's sacrifice joins a devastating list of losses, including Cheong San, his mother, and the countless students whose lives were tragically cut short, both by the virus and the final, bombardment. Hyosan High is gone, and the survivors of All of Us Are Dead now exist within the confines of a strict quarantine zone. The walls have closed in. The world has shrunk to a suffocating quarantine zone, a cage where the survivors of All of Us Are Dead must now fight for survival against unseen horrors. Hyosan High, a ghost of what was, lingers in their memories. Netflix has forged a new crucible, a battleground where hope and despair collide. And Nam Ra, a phantom figure, roams the desolate landscape, her actions poised to ignite a firestorm. Time to watch the official season two trailer! Let's go! All of Us Are Dead Season 2: Unveiling What's Next All of Us Are Dead 2 needs a time skip. It's the only way to make season 1's events, especially Cheong San's fate, truly impactful. Season 1 was about immediate survival; Season 2 should be about exploring the post-apocalyptic world. From School to Wasteland: All of Us Are Dead 2 's Post-Apocalyptic Turn The stage is shattered. The curtain torn. All of Us Are Dead has reached its point of no return. Hyosan High's ashes paint a grim portrait of the past, a past that cannot be replicated. Season 2 must venture into the unknown, into the vast, unforgiving expanse beyond the walls. To cling to the familiar is to invite oblivion. The whispers of a world beyond the school, glimpsed through On Jo's father's desperate struggle, now scream for release. A New Home: The Quarantine Zone in All of Us Are Dead Hyosan High is history, but don't panic! All of Us Are Dead still has a killer option: the military's quarantine zone. Imagine: our favorite survivors, finally out of lockdown, exploring their new 'safe' space'. But let's be real, safety is relative when the undead are roaming. This setup is screaming for a return to those intense, limited-space zombie encounters. Season 1's magic, revisited? They think they're safe. They've built walls and enforced strict rules. But in All of Us Are Dead , safety is a cruel illusion. One hidden carrier, one asymptomatic halfbie slipping through the cracks, and the quarantine zone becomes a bloodbath. It's the perfect storm for a new outbreak, forcing our characters to abandon their supposed sanctuary and plunge back into the ravaged streets of Hyosan. Or perhaps, driven by loyalty, they'll risk it all to find Nam Ra, or even dare to hope for Cheong San's return. The Key to Season 2: Nam Ra's Halfbie Friends The silence of the ruins is deafening. Nam-ra's control, her discovery of other halfbies, is a testament to survival, but also a haunting reminder of the lives they've lost. All of Us Are Dead 2 will delve into the quiet despair of her existence, a somber departure from the webtoon's hopeful narrative. The source material offered a chance for reconciliation, but the show presents only a desolate landscape of broken connections. These unseen halfbies, living in the shadows of Hyosan, are a reflection of Nam Ra's own fractured heart. And her isolation, a constant ache, paints a picture of a world forever changed. Final thoughts Three years have passed, and All of Us Are Dead must evolve. The 'zombie survival period' is the key, paving the way for a season 2 that's dramatically different and utterly captivating Season 2 plot twist predictions? After a two-year hiatus since his last thriller Adamas (2022), Ji Sung is back with another cop-inspired drama Connection! After its premiere this weekend, there was a huge jump in viewership ratings! We give you three reasons why Connection is jumping to the top of our spring/summer K-drama playlist! *Spoilers! Jang Jae Kyeong (Ji Sung Adamas 2022) is a narcotics detective for the Anhyeon Police Department. After getting his revenge on a subordinate injured by capturing a drug king, the leader of the Five Spider Gang in Jang Chul Gu, is mysteriously captured after following a lead. He is instantly addicted to a new street drug! Lead by his moral conviction, he is split between living life as a "clean" detective or submitting to the drug to "stay sane" and find out who has drugged him. Meanwhile, Oh Yoon Jin (Jeon Mi Do Thirty-nine 2022) is a hard-nosed Anhyeon Economic Daily Newspaper reporter. Due to her personality, she was wrongly fired from her previous job, she decided to focus her efforts on uncovering the crime and corruption in Anhyeon City. She gets entangled with Detective Jang Jae Kyeong. Are you loving the story yet? We are! After just the first episode, we were on the edge of our seats! The story of a narcotics detective falling victim to a street drug is not a new concept, but we give you three reasons why Connection is still worth watching and should be at the top of your spring/summer K-drama playlist! 1. Ji Sung shows outward toughness but inside, he is deeply hurt and betrayed Jang Jae Kyeong (Ji Sung) shows that is tough and nothing can hurt him including his co-workers and others around him, but deep down, he has lost his mother and is deeply hurt and betrayed by his high school classmate and ex-friend, Park Joon Seo (Yoon Na Moo Dr. Romantic 3 2023). We love to see a damaged hero persona that needs help! Ji Sung shows great poise and character development as he tries to juggle his professional life with his personal life. To add more of a challenge, his character, Jang Jae Kyeong, must navigate his police life safely (because of his new drug addiction) in order to catch the bad guys! 2. The mystery and suspense is killing us! After being captured and drugged, we still don't know who is behind it or the reason why Jang Jae Kyeong is being targeted! With the introduction of CEO Yoon (Baek Ji Won Chicken Nugget 2024) in episode 2, we think she might be behind it, but we never know! There could be someone higher up in the "food chain"! The "connection" between Jang Jae Kyeong, his deceased ex-best friend Park Joon Seo, Oh Yoon Jin, and prosecutor Park Tae Jin has us wondering what really happened during their high school days. 3. Park Joon Seo gives his life insurance money to Jang Jae Kyeong! What really had our mouths open in disbelief is that Park Joon So, Jang Jae Kyeong's ex-best friend from high school whom he hadn't seen in 20 years, left his life insurance policy, a total of 5 million dollars to Jang Jae Kyeong after his "suicide"! Things are getting interesting as Jang Jae Kyeong's past high school relationships have him as the primary target since he hasn't kept a good relationship with his old high school classmates. We want to know how all of this is connected! Park Joon Seo's death and the new street drug called "Lemon Mulberry" are connected!
