In 2016, T.O.P, received a probationary sentence, having been found guilty for illegal drug use, leading to him being outed by his group BigBang in 2022, which also led to him parting ways with YG Entertainment . After almost eleven years, T.O.P spoke out to answer an number of unanswered questions about the controversies that have surround him all this time. So who is T.O.P? T.O.P took to the stage when he was in twenties, he had always had a passion for fame and stardom, and with his determination it led him to great things. He used to perform as an underground rapper and he was then scouted by YG Entertainment in 2006 where he joined the boy band BigBang, and he led the group to global heights and one of the best all time selling groups in Asia. As a solo artist he also released two singles "Turn it Up" in 2010 and "Doom Dada" in 2013, which peaked near the top of the charts coming in at number two and number four. Sadly, with the level of fame that he had, this all came crashing down in 2017, when he was arrested for the use of marijuana, and a number of his fans walking away from him. So will T.O.P return to BigBang? Fans have asked the question as to whether or not T.O.P will return to BigBang one day, although they are worried about the bands reputation as it was previously tarnished after the drug scandal. This is the age old question, however as we all know fans drive the careers for idols and generate a hype around them online and at concerts, which helps to create revenue for the entertainment company. Idols need to appear to be responsive to fans through online posts and through meet and greats, as it leads to a more positive fan experience and it keeps interest in the group. If idols are not responsive towards fans, then they are likely to have a lower following and interest than those that are responsive. Image: Kpopping.com IVE recently dropped their prerelease track ahead of their third EP, Rebel Heart, on January 13, 2025, however fans were quick to take to social media to discuss if their songs are getting worse rather than better. https://pann.nate.com/talk/373809133  " IVE's songs are seriously getting worse. I really miss the vibe of 'Love Dive,' 'Eleven,' and 'After Like.' Their songs have been getting worse after 'I AM'." Some fans did agree that their new teaser for their EP was a fail, compared to their successful earlier hits, although some did argue that they are bias until they have heard the full third album. Let's take a look at their third EP official video! So what is the song about? Their new track really does portray the members diverse and individual stories. It is clear that each member does have a strong vocal range, being able to combine their harmonies which can clearly be seen through their uplifting chorus, accompanied by the up-tempo drum beats and backing track. Our review On the surface, "Rebel Heart" does execute many things right. It has a great upbeat sound, with a pretty decent and overwhelming finale, not to mention the powerful guitar sounds which are featured throughout and the stomping percussion. The melodies too offer a sense of "bigness" from the group, and we love the sound of each members vocals layered together with the instrumental sounds. There are however some flaws, such as the chorus being too repetitive, and some of the members do seem to shout at times as opposed to sing. The music video, as you are able to see feels a little more like company branding, rather than the girls just being themselves and having fun, which ironically does tend to sell more music. These elements in our opinion tend to flaw the otherwise solid pop track, which makes it difficult to fully embrace "Rebel Heart" like we had hoped. What do you think of IVE's performances? Park Jinyoung and Roh Jeong Eui for K-drama "The Witch" (Channel A) Park Jinyoung ( GOT7 ) and Roh Jeong Eui’s most-awaited K-drama The Witch  has finally released a new teaser today through Channel A. The teaser has quickly gained attention for its mysterious yet captivating vibes. The drama is based on Kang Full’s webtoon The Witch . Kang Full is also known for creating popular stories like Disney+'s Moving  and The Light Shop . He is famous for bringing unique supernatural plots into modern-day life. Fans couldn’t hide their excitement after learning that the drama is adapted from Kang Full’s webtoon. The story revolves around a mysterious woman, Mi Jung, who is shunned by her hometown and called a "witch." It also follows Dong Jin, a man who fell in love with her during their high school days. The lead roles are played by GOT7’s Jinyoung as Dong Jin and Roh Jeong Eui as Mi Jung. This drama marks Jinyoung’s return as a main lead after Yumi’s Cells 2  and The Devil Judge , while Roh Jeong Eui was last seen in Hierarchy  on Netflix.
