Park Bo Gum has taken on a new role as the face of Korea Tourism, following one of his latest hit roles in When Life Gives You Tangerines in a bid to help attract tourists to Korea this year.

Imagine exploring historic palaces and vibrant cityscapes, all while experiencing the very culture that has captivated millions through its dramas and music. It's clear that the magic of K-content, amplified by stars like Park Bo Gum, ensure Korea remains a top choice for an unforgettable adventure for global travelers. Korea Tourism has also invested heavily into their new promotional videos!

He also urged visitors to discover both metropolitan and coastal treasures, recommending a bike ride along the Han River which is one of his own favorite routes and a tours of Busan’s vibrant coastlines, recently showcased in a drama series in which he starred. Let's check them out!

These promotional videos, produced in partnership with Netflix, invite viewers on journeys that range from eating ramen in a convenience store to biking along the Han River, mirroring scenes from hit international shows while rooting the experience in uniquely Korean moments.

The campaign’s reach will extend to landmark billboards in 16 key global cities, including at New York’s Times Square, while digital rollouts on YouTube and Netflix will target over 20 international markets. Which we are certain will have a BIG IMPACT.

These are two really strong campaigns! "Never Ending Korea", features engaging promotional videos like "On My Way", sung by Park Bo Gum himself, showcasing diverse locations from Busan's Marine City to the serene fields of Jeolla. Through strategic collaborations with platforms like Netflix for "Escape to Korea" videos, Korea is creatively leveraging its entertainment prowess to entice a wide and global audience.

It's clear that the magic of K-content, amplified by stars like Park Bo Gum, ensure Korea remains a top choice for an unforgettable adventure. Korea each year always out does itself when it comes to attracting global visitors, and the interest in K-content will only help them gain repeated travelers as well as gaining newbies to Korea.

The push from Korea Tourism to showcase the beautiful landscape outside of the mega city of Seoul is a great move, as currently many travelers only visit Seoul during their trip to Korea. One of the reasons why, is due to the Incheon Airport serving as the home for many international flights. With travelers having limited time, its not always possible to travel to other cities. That said, Korea has so much to offer, more than the glitz and glamor of Seoul. Since some of the Dojeon team have resided in Korea for a number of years, they have also confirmed that the heart of Korea is in it's smaller cities, so its a great opportunity for tourists to visit with this new campaign.
