Synopsis
What begins as a public address by the South Korean president quickly descends into chaos as gunshots erupt through the crowd. Although the president is the intended target, the First Lady is struck by a bullet and later dies, triggering a nationwide investigation that uncovers far more than anyone expected.
The film follows three men whose lives become intertwined in the search for the truth. Lee Min-ho stars as a rookie reporter assigned to the newspaper's social affairs desk. Ambitious and eager to prove himself, he begins digging into the case, only to discover that every answer leads to even more dangerous questions.
Yoo Hae-jin plays a veteran police inspector whose instincts and determination drive the official investigation, while Park Hae-il portrays the head of the newspaper's social affairs department, a fearless journalist who refuses to stop asking difficult questions despite mounting pressure.
