In a positively glamorous and rhythmic percussion throughout, JYP 's ITZY released their first single M/V, "Bet On Me", for their upcoming album! We break down the new single, plus show you some of the behind-the-scenes photos! Amassing over 1.6 million views in just over 9 hours, ITZY's new single is reminiscent of an early 2000s rock/pop song. "Bet On Me" starts off dark and ominous with references to "sleepless nights" and "This labyrinth goes deep". But then, the song starts to pick up (although the beat remains the same throughout the song) when they start to shout "run run run"! We see Yeji running for her life! (She definitely got into better shape after filming haha!) The song immediately turns positive as we get to understand what the context behind the depressing-sounding first verse was about.
