Her character, Jo Eun Gang, is surrounded by a dysfunctional family and is fed up with her life and starts to do whatever it takes to realize her dream. She has given up her dream to become a teacher as she has failed the teacher's exam multiple times therefore she is hoping that her boyfriend will pass his exam and get married to him. But in a twist in fate, Eun Gang catches Tae Gi cheating on her with another woman after he has passed the civil servant exam and finally gets a stable job. Tae Gi has taken advantage of her kindness and breaks up with her, leaving her heartbroken. • The Cast of "The Glory" Discuss Fan Theories About Season 2!

Just a day away from one of the most anticipated K-dramas this year, fans are casting their voices on what they think will happen in The Glory Season 2 ! The cast from this show voices their opinions on what fans think and maybe adds a little hint about what happens. Keep on reading to find out! In a fun video, the main cast, without Song Hye Kyo , gives a fun discussion about their thoughts on what fans have been suggesting about their characters in season 2! Check out the video! After watching this video, we want to share three of our favorite theories! 1. Son Myeong Oh might still be alive. Son Myeong Oh ( Kim Gun Woo Record of Youth 2020) is the connection between Moon Dong Eun ( Song Hye Kyo ) and the rest of the bullies since Dong Eun has to use him in order to get to the rest of the crew. Throughout the first part of the series, there were several scenes where we felt pity for him and his situation. After seeing this, we feel that Dong Eun will take it easy on Myeong Oh and give him a proper punishment that is not death. 2. In Part 2, Dong Eun and Do Yeong start dating. At the end of part 1, Ha Do Yeong ( Jung Sung Il Our Blues 2022) finds out what his wife, Park Yeon Jin, has done to Dong Eun. After knowing this information as well as his attraction to Dong Eun at the chess club, where they often run into each other, we feel that although there might not be a romantic connection, they will definitely form a partnership. It is through this partnership that we feel Dong Eun will have an edge to successfully carry out her revenge! 3. Ha Do Yeong might be sterile. So he might know Ye Sol isn't his daughter. So he will take Yeon Jin's side until the end. An interesting twist in the plot is when we find out that Yeon Jin's daughter, Ye Sol, is actually the daughter of Jeon Jae Joon, part of the bullies that hurt Dong Eun! We think that if he finds out, he will definitely NOT take Yeon Jin's side on anything! Like we mentioned earlier, once he finds out how Yeon Jin has deceived him, he will side with Dong Eun to help her with her revenge! The Glory part 2 is scheduled to be released on March 10 for streaming worldwide on Netflix. Let us know your theories! Is there a theory you like best? #thegloryseason2 #theglory

Netizens' opinions However, while international netizens praised the on-screen pairing, Korean netizens expressed skepticism, stating that the two stars appeared more like strangers than a couple. Comments such as "Is it a romance drama? They don't seem like a couple," and "Their faces really don't look good together," flooded social media platforms, leading to speculation and concern among fans. Han So Hee Responds to Netizens' Criticism Addressing the criticism, Han So Hee shared her thoughts in a recent interview, acknowledging the mixed reactions to the photo shoot. She expressed her hope that viewers would not solely focus on the romantic aspect of the show but would also appreciate the broader circumstances and the characters' struggles to survive together. "I hope the viewers don't just focus on the romance part of the show but the entire circumstances and how they bend together to struggle to survive together" Park Seo Joon , in agreement with his co-star, emphasized his trust in Han So Hee and credited her for her invaluable support during the filming process. "I relied on her a lot, and she helped me out tremendously," he said, highlighting their collaborative efforts to bring depth to their characters. So what is Gyeongseong Creature about? The drama, set in the backdrop of 1945 during the Japanese occupation of Korea, revolves around the Ongseong Hospital, a place from which few ever return. The hospital is notorious for the mysterious disappearances of loved ones, capturing the attention of the entire community. In the series, Park Seo Joon portrays Jang Tae Sang , the wealthiest man in Gyeongseong (old Seoul), who finds himself entangled in a quest to locate a missing person. Along the way, he encounters Han So Hee's character, Yoon Chae Ok, a beautiful and enigmatic woman on her mission to reunite with her long-lost mother. • "The Golden Spoon" Ends In Unexpected Thrilling Fashion!

The webtoon fantasy-inspired drama The Golden Spoon that premiered on MBC TV on September 23 capped off an unexpected thrilling finale on November 12! The fantasy-romance drama featuring Yook Sung Jae from K-pop boy group BtoB shocked viewers with a shocking ending! Here's our take on the surprising ending that has everyone talking! **Spoiler Alert! The Golden Spoon Ending The final episode brought much-needed closure but also left the door wide open to the viewer's interpretation. Towards the end of the episode, we see Lee Seung Cheon ( Yook Sung Jae ) back at Hwang Tae Yong's ( Lee Jong Won ) house after being released from the murder charges set upon him by Hwang Hyeon Do. The housemaid prepares a poisonous drink disguised as orange juice for him in the middle of packing. The next scene shows Seo Young Sin entering Tae Yong's room with blood all over the floor and a dead "Tae Yong" as she alerts the rest of the house. Na Ju Hee ( Jung Chae Yeon ), who has been waiting outside for Seung Cheon rushes into the house and is shocked to find out what happened. The next scene is set three years in the future where everyone is settling into their new lives and almost forgetting about what happened three years earlier. Seung Cheon's sister has married Jang Mun Ki (Tae Yong's assistant) and Oh Yeo Jin ( Yeon Woo ) is also married to Park Jang Gun and has a newborn. Hwang Hyeon Do has also been released from prison after serving his time but is wheeled out in a wheelchair. It seems that he has been fed the same paralytic that killed Seung Cheon by Young Sin who wants to make him suffer. She tells him that Seo Jun Tae was actually his son and we see the shock in Hyeon Do's eyes. Meanwhile, Ju Hee is given the assignment to interview a gardener who teaches children how to invest in stocks. The search for this gardener brings Ju Hee to the beach where she meets none other than Seung Cheon! It is revealed in the next scene that before Seung Cheon was able to drink the orange juice given to him by the housemaid, the gardener was at the house at the same time eating his third meal with the golden spoon which made him the new Hwang Tae Yong and therefore passes away. Seung Cheon becomes the gardener and walks out of the house with no memory of anything that happened before. As Ju Hee meets the new Seung Cheon, she has a vague feeling of knowing him and has a stir of feelings although she doesn't know why. Our thoughts on the ending Although there was closure in the last episode, we felt that the identity changes between the characters often made us confused. Many times, we had to pause the episode and really think about who is the "real" character and whose body was "borrowed". It also made us realize how difficult it must have been for the actors to play these multiple roles! Check out this behind-the-scenes video for episode 16! Let us know if this ending had you scratching your head or rewinding it to watch it again! Let us know your theory in the comments below! We would love to hear from you!

  • 5 Reasons Why "Crash Course in Romance" Is the Top Comedy K-drama of the Winter!

#crashcourseinromance #jeondoyeon #jungkyungho #일타스캔들 Funny, witty, and heartwarming, there's a reason why tvN 's new winter drama Crash Course in Romance is touted to be the most viewed K-drama of 2023! The ongoing 16-episode starring Jeon Do Yeon ( Lost 2021) and Jung Kyung Ho ( Hospital Playlist 2 2021) is all the rage in South Korea right now! We break down five reasons why you should be watching this hilarious quirky drama! Nam Haeng Seon ( Jeon Do Yeon ) is a former national handball athlete that had to drop her shot at national stardom when her sister abandoned her niece with her when she was young. She decides to take in her niece, Nam Hae Yi ( Roh Yoon Seo Our Blues 2022), and adopt her as her own. She runs a local side dishes shop along with her best friend and brother. Choi Chi Yeol ( Jung Kyung Ho ) is a hot-shot star math teacher in the private education sector. He is passionate about his job and dedicates his life to his work. He is very frail physically since he is very selective about his diet. The only food that he can stomach is from the side dishes shop that Nam Haeng Seon owns. The two bump into each other due to an unusual circumstance with Nam Haeng Seon's brother's mobile phone and Nam Hae Yi's pleading to register into Choi Chi Yeol's math class. They begin seeing each other quite often leading to a romantic relationship. With such an unlikely couple, we break down five reasons why Crash Course in Romance should be at the top of your K-drama winter streaming playlist! 1. This drama is seriously funny! We can't count the number of times we burst out laughing as this series has some pretty ridiculous situations! Take the time when Choi Chi Yeol goes to Nam Haeng Seon's store to apologize and they have an apology battle! How about the number of times that Choi Chi Yeol gets teased about being fragile and pale? These awkward yet funny situations have us constantly looking forward to what situation they put these characters in! 2. The characters are genuine. Aside from the playfulness and the joking around, the characters are really well-developed! It is heartwarming to see Haeng Seon take her responsibilities as the sole guardian of Hae Yi seriously and sacrifices herself to give her niece a better life. On the other hand, Choi Chi Yeol really cares about his students. There's a scene where he explains to his students that he wants them to have the same passion that he has for the subject rather than just getting a great score. 3. There's a mysterious element mixed in. Like in many Korean dramas, there's always something that throws off the vibe of the series. A mini story of a mysterious person shooting metal balls at students and then through the window of Haeng Seon's shop in order to scare Chi Yeol while he's in there shopping. We were quite curious to see if it was a former student or parent that harbored ill will against Chi Yeol? 4. Beware, Tiger moms galore! The issue of overbearing Tiger moms is definitely something serious in this drama. With a comical twist, the series does take this issue with a more relaxed approach. Considering there are other dramas that focus on the serious issue of Korean mother's controlling their children's education, such as Green Mother's Club (2022), Crash Course in Romance decides to put a spin on the competitiveness of these moms in a comical manner! For instance, in the scene where Haeng Seon is looking to sign up Hae Yi for Chi Yeol's class but all of a sudden a herd of mothers starts power-walking alongside her to get to the academy first! 5. The eminent scandal! The title, in Korean, says it all: " 일타 스캔들" which means "One Shot Scandal". No matter how nice and fluffy this outrageous relationship might be, the truth is no parent should be close, especially romantically, with her child's teacher. In South Korea, this is a serious cause of concern since Koreans view teachers as a driver of their children's success in life. Although we ship Haeng Seon and Chi Yeol's relationship, we hold our breaths to see what will be the outcome if other moms find out about their relationship. What do you think? Do you agree with our points? Let us know if you've seen this drama or if we've convinced you to watch it! Crash Course in Romance is available on Netflix streaming and airs every Saturday and Sunday at 21:10 KST.

  • 5 Things You Can Do In Korea As a Solo–Traveler!

Yes, traveling is fun and memorable when you're in the company of other people, but what if we told you it can be just as memorable and fun when you're alone? South Korea is a wonderful destination, and although it is known to be very romantic , it has a lot to offer to solo travelers as well! So, if you've been thinking of coming here for a while but don't have anybody to go with, keep reading and find out 5 things to do in Korea this year that will leave you with no time to be bored! 1. Take a Trip to Nami Island Nami Island is a beautiful little island in the north of Seoul that offers beautiful trees, woodland, riverside walks, and much more. It has some amazing must-see scenery year round. Whether you are going in the spring and want to witness some cherry blossoms or you are going in the autumn to see the fall foliage, do not skip on this little island that has it all! Don't forget to take some amazing pictures for your Instagram ! Alternatively, you can also take a trip to Alpaca World or to the DMZ ! 2. Try THESE cafés! We all know Korea is the homeland of pretty and unique cafés (really, it has it all, like a Harry Potter-themed café and a café hidden behind a fridge!), so nothing new there. What you might not know is that there are cafés about simplicity and good coffee. This year try one of the many cafés that offer activities and entertainment other than just drinks. You can start by writing a letter to your future self at this Vegan café that will later mail it to you on your desired date. Or maybe you can try painting, drawing, or even pottery! Worth mentioning are also PC Bangs , where you can play games and eat or drink at the same time! Finally, if you are a K -pop or anime fiend, there are spots for you too, where you can find people that share the same passions as you! 3. Rent a bike Korea is a very green country, with some breathtaking scenery . So why not make the most of it and explore the city by bike? In recent years it has become increasingly easier to rent bikes (especially in the bigger cities) for a very cheap price. That makes it so much easier and more convenient to explore the city compared to walking everywhere! And you can enjoy the scenery better as opposed to taking the bus or the train. So today, why don't you just rent a bike, go to a park and let the road take you wherever it wants to take you? We promise you won't regret it! 4. Busking in Hongdae Okay, so this might be more of a Seoul thing, although you can experience something similar in the areas of Haeundae Beach and Gwangalli Beach in Busan, we had to mention it. There's nothing like watching some good busking on a Friday night or Sunday morning when it's the weekend and you're not rushing to work or home. People will gather, sit down and watch some great performances take place! It's also a good spot for making friends; just imagine turning around and seeing someone else sing the same K-pop song you are singing and adore! You've got to strike up a conversation then! 5. Explore one of the many GIGANTIC malls! If you find yourself having run out of things to do and being bored, just remember: it's Korea! The country has plenty of enormous malls and department stores you can visit. And they are everywhere! You are sure to spend hours inside one and not leave empty-handed. You will be able to find all kinds of things inside: from clothes to accessories to household goods, to cafés and restaurants. There's even a mall with a park , and another one with an observation deck and a skywalk inside! Did you know that Busan has the biggest department store in the world? Yeah, exactly, they know what they are doing! These are just 5 of the many things you can do in Korea as a solo traveler, so stop overthinking it and book a flight to this amazing destination right now! Have you ever been to Korea? If so, have you ever tried any of these things? If not, which one would you like to try first? Let us know in the comments!
