  • Which K-Pop Giants Just Smashed Records? [Stray Kids, SEVENTEEN, & More!]

From sold-out stadiums to massive stock surges—see the definitive Top 11 list that has the whole industry talking! Top earning K-pop idols of 2025 - Credit: https://www.thedailyjagran.com/ The K-pop industry has reached new highs in recent years, not only with success and global chart dominance, but also in terms of financials. 2025 transformed the global economy, and as 2026 is in full swing, the Dojeon Media team is wondering if this success will continue or even top itself this year. One group has emerged not just as a leader among their peers but as a top-tier global touring act alongside the biggest names in Western music. Let's take a closer look! The New Touring King - Stray Kids Stray Kids claimed the title of the highest-grossing K-pop band in terms of their successful tours in 2025. Their World Tour  managed to pull in a staggering $185.7 million USD. They actually surpassed industry heavyweights in 2025 by selling over 1.3 million tickets across 31 reported dates, securing the #10 spot on Billboard’s overall Top Tours of 2025. To say that we are impressed is simply an understatement. Driven by an aggressive stadium strategy and competing with the likes of Western artists like Coldplay , Stray Kids really did have a winner of a year! The big question that we have this year is, will this compare to the BTS comeback tour? The HYBE Powerhouse Several of HYBE's talents really did achieve top earnings in 2025. SEVENTEEN hit a staggering $142.2 million USD, while solo efforts from BTS members J-hope  and Jin  continued to generate massive capital during the group's hiatus. J-Hope achieved $84.7 million USD, while Jin, on the other hand, earned $46.1 million USD. The Dojeon team would love to find out how much commission HYBE took! Seventeens Revenue - Credit: X The New Gen Contenders There were, of course, new faces in the K-pop scene that also achieved a big salary last year! Groups like IVE  and NewJeans  also saw growth in their earnings. IVE's SHOW WHAT I AM   tour put IVE into one of the most up-and-coming artists, thanks to her North American tour. If this was not enough, the release of their 12-track album REVIVE+  has propelled IVE into the top tier of earners, while NewJeans continues to dominate the digital and CF (commercial film) revenue sectors. Now that the NewJeans scandal is almost dead and buried, will they earn a higher net margin this year? The Billion-Dollar Reunion These individual artists and groups have really acted as a gateway for more K-pop artists to become successful this year! The massive pressure cooker this year and where the world's eyes are is for the 2026 Arirang reunion tour, which is now projected to exceed $1 billion in total revenue, close to that of US pop sensation Taylor Swift and the ERA's tour . With average ticket prices climbing to well above $220 (which is simply out of reach for the average K-pop fan), the shift from solo arenas back to collective stadium dominance marks the most lucrative chapter in K-pop history. Could this really be the year that K-pop knocks some Western artists off the charts? Final Thoughts The Dojeon Media team believes that these 2025 earnings really do confirm that K-pop is a force to be reckoned with. From a once-niche and fairly small market, K-pop is now a multi-million dollar industry. As Stray Kids and SEVENTEEN continue to smash records, the industry is no longer just "taking over" K-pop—it is taking over the global live entertainment landscape. #Kpop #KpopNews #StrayKids #KpopEarnings2025 #WealthyIdols #IndustryTrends
