BTS' first night at MetLife Stadium wasn't just about the music; it also became a powerful show of support from ARMY. As the seven members returned to the stage in East Rutherford, New Jersey, thousands of fans filled the venue with purple lights, loud cheers, and an unexpected message directed at the Recording Academy. The group said music should be celebrated without being separated by language or region, and their fans made sure that message echoed throughout the stadium. BTS (Credits: Google) The energy inside MetLife Stadium was electric as BTS performed hits from their latest album ARIRANG along with fan-favorite classics during the opening night of their sold-out two-day stop. While the concert delivered the usual spectacular production, choreography, and emotional fan moments, one detail quickly grabbed attention online. Several fans in the crowd held up handmade placards supporting the group's decision to skip the Grammys, turning the concert into a moment of solidarity between BTS and ARMY. Photos and videos from the venue soon spread across social media, with one sign standing out above the rest. Written in bold black letters, the placard read, "F**k the Grammys." Others carried messages backing BTS' decision and applauding the group for standing by their beliefs instead of competing in the newly created category. The signs drew loud cheers from nearby fans, with many saying the message reflected their disappointment over the Recording Academy's decision to separate Asian pop into its own award category. BTS Say ‘No Thanks’ to the 2027 Grammys, and They’ve Got a Reason BTS are sitting out the 2027 Grammy Awards, and the move has everyone talking. The global superstars announced that they will not submit their music for Grammy consideration this year, sharing the news through identical Instagram posts from all seven members. Their message wasn't about missing out on trophies; it was about making a statement. "We have decided not to enter the Grammys this year," the group wrote. "I hope that music can be heard and loved for what it is, rather than being divided by region or language." The decision comes as a surprise because BTS were expected to dominate several of the biggest Grammy races. #BTS #BTSNEWS #RM #JIN #SUGA #JHOPE #JIMIN #V #JUNGKOOK #GRAMMYS #BTSUPDATE
