2026 will actually mark the 27th Seoul Queer Culture Festival (SQCF), and it is forcing a stark confrontation with the country's deeply embedded conservative values. The question that the Dojeon Media team has, however, is: "Is Korean culture changing?" We see more and more flamboyant artists on TV and even people on the street. For the younger Korean generation, being "gay" is not that much of a big deal, but will decades of outdated values be able to be forgotten?
