ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo Set to Begin Military Service in July

It's official. Cha Eun Woo will enlist in the military this July. We look at all the unfinished projects he has scheduled before his mandatory duty!

Cha Eun Woo for many has become a household name over the past few years, and for good reason. Not only, does he have a handsome face, but he is also very talented!


Like all able bodied male citizens in South Korea, the actor and singer is now preparing for his mandatory military service later this year. It has been suggested that his time will be sometime in July, although currently there has not been as specific date confirmed. However, we do know that the 28 year old, will be aspiring to join the military band, and rightly so with his outstanding musical career!




Since there is not long before his enlistment, it has been revealed that Cha Eun Woo will aim to finish several unreleased projects before July!


He has reportedly been filming a new web show, where the star plays a character called Lee Woon Jung in the film First Ride which is a story as to how individuals gain supernatural powers to fight against villains!




In terms of music, Cha Eun Woo has also released a tribute song called "Memory Of The Moon", which is a song to commemorate the late Moonbin, who passed away in April 2023. He and his fellow ASTRO members collaborated with 22 other K-pop idols on the tribute song.

Get ready to follow a quirky group of small-town residents who suddenly find themselves with incredible abilities and must band together to take on villains threatening the peace of Haeseong City. Sounds like a must-watch for sure!
