Jimin said the group would need an invitation to take part, stating, “We can’t do it unless we’re invited,” while Jin shared that he has already imagined what such a performance could look like.

RM struck a more cautious tone on the possibility, saying, “Maybe if time goes by, and the thoughts in the people change,” and adding, “All of the people in the world are watching Parasite, all these great things in Korean culture, so if there’s a chance, we definitely want to, someday.”

The BTS leader also addressed the negativity the group has faced online. Referring to the track “2.0,” RM said, “There are really people who just pray in their home,” RM explains. “ ‘Please, BTS, just go fall down. Just break apart and collapse.’ So we’re thinking about ‘OK, guys, for two, three years, we have been apart … and three years passed, and ARMYs are waiting for us, the world is waiting for us, so you guys had your little fun.’”

Online Reactions, Industry Comparisons

When asked whether they read online comments, Suga said, “Never!” while RM admitted, “Sometimes,” prompting laughter among the members.

The interview also touched on comparisons with global pop stars, including Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, and Harry Styles. RM rejected the comparison, saying, “They are greater artists than us,” and adding, “We’re just so small. We’re just a boy band from Korea.”

The comments highlight BTS’s continued global reach, while also reflecting their awareness of criticism and their cautious optimism about future international milestones.

World Tour and Global Presence

BTS continues to maintain a strong international presence through large-scale world tours that have consistently sold out stadiums across North America, Europe, and Asia. Their performances have drawn massive crowds and record-breaking attendance, reinforcing their status as one of the most influential global acts. The group’s touring success has also played a key role in expanding the global reach of K-pop.
