Since BTS’s debut in 2013, they’ve built a discography that simply does not miss. Ten studio albums, seven compilation albums, and six EPs later, each era still brings its own vibe, its own story, and a whole lot of emotion.
Every comeback feels like a moment. Every album feels like a new chapter. So the real question is, out of all these iconic releases, which one truly takes the crown? As per Koreaboo, a fan poll jumped in to settle the debate, and the results are just as bold, dynamic, and unforgettable as BTS themselves.
1. ARIRANG
Taking the top spot with 27% of the vote, ARIRANG is BTS at their most rooted and reflective. Inspired by a traditional Korean folk song, the album blends heritage with a powerful comeback vibe. It also marks their return after military service, making it a moment of pride and a full-circle chapter.
2. Map of the Soul: 7
Released on February 21, 2020, this album earned 14% of the votes. It reflects BTS’s seven-year journey, pairing introspective lyrics with grand production. With solo and sub-unit tracks, it dives into identity, shadow, and growth, giving each member space to shine.
3. Love Yourself: Answer
Released on August 24, 2018, this album secured 9% of the vote. It focuses on self-love and acceptance. With tracks like “Idol", it wraps up the "Love Yourself" era with confidence, energy, and a strong message of embracing who you are.
4. Love Yourself: Tear
Released on May 18, 2018, this album also received 8% of the vote but ranked higher by tie-break. It explores heartbreak and emotional pain. It also made history as BTS’s first album to hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
5. Wings

With 8% of the vote, Wings, released on October 10, 2016, was a major turning point. Inspired by the novel Demian, it explores temptation and personal growth. The album also features solo tracks from each member, highlighting their individual artistry.
From deep emotions to global milestones, BTS’s albums map out their journey in the most iconic way. While ARIRANG leads the fan vote, every album brings its own flavor. Together, they prove BTS doesn’t just make music—they create eras.
