BTS Jungkook Donates Another 1 Billion KRW to Help Children From Low-Income Families [Inspired Us to Give Back!]
Sometimes, a simple act of kindness can make a big difference, especially for children and families going through a difficult time. BTS’ Jungkook is once again using his success to help those who need it most.
The K-pop star has donated 1 billion KRW (around $745,600) to Seoul National University Children’s Hospital. The generous contribution will support the hospital’s Integrated Care Center project, with the money primarily helping pediatric patients from low-income families afford the medical treatment they need.
Jungkook’s latest donation also makes his connection with the hospital even more meaningful. This is the second time the BTS member has made such a large contribution to the institution.
In April 2023, Jungkook donated another 1 billion KRW to Seoul National University Children’s Hospital. That donation was also intended to help children from low-income families with their medical expenses and support the hospital’s Integrated Care Center.
With his latest contribution, Jungkook has now donated a total of 2 billion KRW, which is nearly $1.5 million, to the children’s hospital.
The hospital’s Integrated Care Center focuses on supporting children and their families beyond medical treatment. The center aims to provide more comprehensive care for young patients while also helping families during challenging periods.
Jungkook has previously shown that giving back is important to him. In March 2025, he donated another 1 billion KRW toward relief efforts following devastating wildfires in South Korea, with the money supporting victims and firefighters.
His latest contribution once again shows his continued effort to give back and support children and families facing difficult circumstances. By helping cover medical costs for children from low-income families, his donation can offer meaningful support when families may already be dealing with emotional and financial pressure.
With his total donations to the children’s hospital now reaching 2 billion KRW, Jungkook has made a lasting contribution to young patients and their families.
