Celebrate Jungkook’s Birthday by Sharing the Gift of Life at Golden Drop: Bloodletting Year 5

If there's one thing BTS has always reminded us, it's that music has a way of bringing people together. Sometimes, it even inspires us to make a difference beyond the songs we love.
This August, BFM Jungkookies invites everyone, not just ARMYs, to celebrate that spirit of kindness through Golden Drop: Bloodletting Year 5, an annual blood donation drive held in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross.
Happening on August 15, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Philippine Red Cross Logistics and Multipurpose Center in Mandaluyong, the event is part of KOOKIE SEASON 2026, a fan-led birthday celebration for BTS' Golden Maknae, Jungkook, that has grown into something much bigger than a birthday tradition.
This year's theme, "AUrirang: Share the Gift of Life", takes inspiration from BTS' latest era, one that celebrates connection, community, and choosing to live with open hearts. It feels especially fitting alongside a line from Like Animals: "Eat this life 'til your heart is full."
What better way to fill your heart than by giving someone else another chance to keep theirs beating?
Now in its fifth year, Golden Drop continues to prove that fandom can be a force for good. Every year, donors, volunteers, and supporters come together with one simple goal: to help replenish the country's blood supply and give hope to patients who need it most.
