Koreans have seen an increase in furry companionship over the last decade as more dog cafes and pet stores are becoming more common! It is no wonder that the Daegu Pet Festival is one of the biggest shows for your four-legged friend in South Korea! We cover everything you need to know to get ready for an amazing experience!
From May 10 - 12, 2024 the Daegu Pet Festival will be held at the Expo Center in Daegu, now I for one will be attending, and I have already started to count down the days!
A pet lover myself, and proud dog dad of three Korean rescue dogs, I am hoping that this pet festival will help me out! Sadly, I was unable to visit the 2023 expo, although I heard great things from my friends about it as it is Korea's largest pet show!
Throughout the event based on last year, there will be an estimated 5000 - 20,000 visitors, and between 100-500 exhibitions from around the world. I am hoping to find some exciting new products to use on my dogs
I have also been told that the during the event, there will be competitions, onsite vets, and pet shows! Of course, this is also a cat show, so if you have a feline friend, be sure to bring them along with you. I plan to take one of my dogs with me, to enjoy the event and meet some doggy friends as well!
