As the creative leader and lyricist, RM's role in designing the conceptual direction of Arirang is second to none. He is credited as the composer/songwriter on 13 of the 14 tracks. By shaping the album's themes (identity, heritage, and growth), Kim Namjoon is, by far, the most influential figure on the album's identity and trajectory. As hinted in Netflix's documentary, BTS: The Return, RM played a pivotal role in resolving creative differences among the members.

Production Genius & Musical Depth — Min Yoongi (Suga)
You can say the "sound architect" and musical genius behind Arirang is no other than Suga. Not only is Suga's musical talent on display on the new album, but he is a phenomenal lyricist, contributing greatly to what many have called Arirang "more of a rap album". Going back to their roots, BTS have showcased a more mature hip hop version of themselves from their rookie years.
