Get ready, ARMY! BTS - RM, Jin, SUGA, J‑hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook - are returning to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for their first full-group late-night appearance since 2021, and they’re pulling out all the stops. Fans can catch them across two consecutive episodes, making it a double treat of interviews, laughs, and, of course, music!
Back Together and Bigger Than Ever
The comeback kicks off Wednesday, March 25, with an in-studio interview and their first live performance. Then on Thursday, March 26, the group returns to deliver a second musical set. This marks the first time the full group is performing on US late-night TV since completing their mandatory military service in South Korea, with individual members appearing solo in the interim.
Their appearances follow the release of their fifth studio album, Arirang, which drops on this Friday. Fans can also catch the global live performance BTS: The Comeback Live | Arirang, streaming March 21 on Netflix, and the feature documentary BTS: The Return, premiering March 27. This is their first album since Proof in June 2022, which kicked off a long group hiatus filled with solo projects and military duties. Before the official announcement, BTS made it personal, sending handwritten letters with the release date “2026.3.20” directly to lucky fans’ homes.

A Star-Studded Late-Night Lineup
BTS last appeared together on The Tonight Show during their July 2021 takeover. While Jimin, SUGA, Jung Kook, Jin, and J‑hope have made solo appearances since, this marks the ultimate reunion. Fallon and the show’s social media accounts confirmed the big news, and fans can tune in to see BTS share the stage with special guests: Ariana DeBose joins the March 25 episode, while Chris Pratt and Charlie Day appear on March 26.
Filmed before a live studio audience in Studio 6B at 30 Rockefeller Center, the show airs at 11:35 p.m. ET/PT on NBC and streams the next day on Peacock. Get ready for two nights of fun, music, and BTS magic that fans won’t soon forget!
