Onew Dazzles the Crowd During Solo Tour, "Percent (%)", in New York! (Show Highlights & Photos!)

Onew, a member of the K-pop group SHINee, embarks on his solo tour, Percent (%), bringing his fourth U.S stop to New York’s Kings Theatre on January 16, 2026, delivering a night of energy, excitement, and powerful vocals.
Onew came onto the stage in a flash of light, with his bright yellow mic and mic stand already on the stage. He opened the show with his powerful title track, “Percent (%)", captivating the audience with his vocals while gracefully hitting high notes. He then seamlessly transitioned into his song “No Parachute,” slowly moving closer to the audience and adding choreography to his set. With the crowd filled with Shating Stars (SHINee lightsticks), Onew began singing “Yeoboowi", moving his arms side to side to match the fans as they sang along, creating a beautiful sea of diamonds.
Once he finished performing “Far Away", the crowd erupted in cheers as Onew greeted fans at his New York show. He continued to talk with the audience, asking for updates since his last tour and scouting birthdays in the crowd before singing “Happy Birthday” to them. He then continued the show with the songs “Conversation,” “All Day,” and “Maestro".
Onew later asked fans for song recommendations for an acoustic performance, and fans shouted “Always". He began to sing before admitting he had forgotten the lyrics, eventually borrowing a fan’s phone to fulfill another request. The audience continued to fill the theatre with cheers as Onew once again proved that he was singing live.
Toward the end of the show, Onew announced that the night was coming to an “end", teasing an encore and saddening fans who did not want the night to end. He performed “Mad", “Caffeine", and “Animals” before leaving the stage.
The crowd’s cheers and screams did not quiet down before Onew returned to the stage for an encore, performing “Oreo Cake", “Yay", and “Happy Birthday".
During his encore performance of “Yay", Onew surprised fans by walking through the crowd so those farther from the stage could dance and sing with him up close. Making his way around the theatre, he took photos and made hearts with many Shawols (SHINee fans) seated in the pews. Onew continued to show his appreciation for his fans’ ongoing support by tossing signed balls and plushies to audience members.
Onew is a performer who shows great care for his craft, putting thoughtful attention into every aspect of the show and every fan interaction. His comfort level and stage presence shine throughout the performance, creating an unforgettable night for everyone in attendance.
