- "Delightfully Deceitful" Finishes Confusing Plot Neatly. But, Here's Why You Should Still Watch!
A little confusing at times, but it helps to maybe watch it again, Delightfully Deceitful finishes with top marks as the crime drama reached its finale of July 18, 2023. With the top viewership ratings during its Monday and Tuesday timeslot, we give you three reasons why you should still watch! With a convoluted storyline, Delightfully Deceitful, at times, had us scratching our heads trying to figure out what was going on. The past and present kept switching back and forth as well as characters were also related to multiple companies, making it harder to keep up with who was hiding the cash and who was responsible for their crimes. All in all, the good proved to overshadow the bad so we want to share three reasons why you should still watch it! 1. The chemistry between the leads is top-notch! You can say what you want about the plot and the way the director decided to present it, but the chemistry between lawyer Han Moo Young (Kim Dong Wook My Perfect Stranger 2023) and genius scam artist Lee Ro Um (Chun Woo Hee Be Melodramatic 2019) is perfect! Chun Woo Hee poses as multiple people in this drama making her acting skills even more incredible. Kim Dong Wook, on the other hand, poses as a cool and collected hot-shot lawyer who can keep a straight face no matter what the situation is! As the two characters become closer, we can feel their mutual respect for each other increasing. In the end, although it might not be love, you can wonder what might happen if they spend more time together without any interruptions. 2. The supporting characters are deep and intentional No crime-fighting squad is complete without a super team who knows what they are doing! Backing Lee Ro Um with her amazing skills is also a team of super-skilled hackers, con artists, and thieves! The top three supporting characters Jung Da Jung (Lee Yeon), Na Sa (Yoo Hee Je), and Ring Go (Hong Seung Bum) really give a feel of what foster children's relationships might be if they had to go through rigorous crime training and tossed aside when their value was used up. Each episode portrayed the team's caring attitude toward each other like brothers and sisters which was a joy to watch. Wouldn't it be nice to find friends that would have your back no matter what? 3. Great satisfaction of revenge! The finale proved to be very satisfying as Lee Ro Um and her team hatches their last complex plan in catching Jay transferring money from his illegal bank account. Although it was a dangerous task, Ro Um and her team were willing to sacrifice their lives to catch the man behind their incredibly tough childhood. The main characters still needed to serve time for the damage they caused while trying to catch a top-notch criminal, but it only made it more satisfying to see the last scene of Jay in a straight jacket staring at his isolated cell! Let us know what you thought about this drama and would you recommend it to your friends? Did you love the characters and their complex relationships? Comment below! #delightfullydeceitful #parkyoon #chunwoohee #kimdongwook

Thanks to Pledis Entertainment, both members are deeply involved in the production of the upcoming album. Here at Dojeon Media, we cannot wait to listen to the new music! Musical Style & Collaboration Global fans have been, and the Dojeon media team has been anticipating this musical blend! The duo actually previously showcased their chemistry together on the track “Orbit", setting high expectations for this full-scale collaboration. Production Co-writing and leading some of the tracks is Vernon. Vernon is actually a voting member of the Recording Academy. The8 is also expected to take a more hands-on role in the visual direction of the album, ensuring that both aesthetics match ahead of the release. Fan Review CARATS (the official fandom of SEVENTEEN) are already starting to get on the hype globally, with many fans actually suggesting "V8" or "VIII" as potential unit names. Do you think either of these could work? Many fans, however, want to make sure that this highly anticipated pairing of the summer has all of the artistic angles and aspects that they have separately. Final Thoughts Here at Dojeon Media, we cannot wait to see how this upcoming collaboration plays out! This creative expansion for SEVENTEEN marks what we think is a strategic and creative move, as they continue their New_ world tour into 2026. - Is the “If Wishes Could Kill” App Real? Truth Behind the Viral K-Drama Concept!
If Wishes Could Kill (Netflix) The buzz around If Wishes Could Kill isn’t just about the story or the cast. What’s really pulling people in right now is the mysterious app at the center of it all. Clips featuring the so-called “Girigo app” have been going viral, especially on Instagram and X. The idea is simple but unsettling: an app that can turn your wishes into reality, but with consequences you don’t fully understand. Naturally, viewers are asking one thing: Is this app actually real? What the App Does in the Drama In the world of If Wishes Could Kill, the Girigo app appears like something almost too good to be true. It allows users to make wishes, whether it’s love, success, revenge, or something deeply personal. But instead of feeling magical, the results come with a dark twist. Every wish seems to carry a price, often affecting not just the user but the people around them. As the story unfolds, it becomes clear that the app is not just a tool. It’s something much more dangerous, pulling users deeper into situations they can’t control. If Wishes Could Kill (Netflix) Is the “Girigo App” Real? Short answer: No, it’s not real. The Girigo app is a fictional concept created for If Wishes Could Kill. There is no real app that can grant wishes or control outcomes like the one shown in the drama. However, the reason it feels believable is that it plays on something very real: our reliance on technology. We already use apps for almost everything, from relationships to decision-making. So, the idea of an app that goes one step further doesn’t feel completely impossible. Why It Feels So Real Anyway Even though the app itself is fictional, the concept isn’t entirely far-fetched. There are real platforms and online spaces where people seek validation, attention, or even emotional escape. Recommendation algorithms, anonymous forums, and even certain AI tools can influence decisions in ways we don’t always notice. There are also internet myths about “dark web services” that claim to offer illegal or extreme outcomes for a price. While most of these are exaggerated or fake, they add to the fear factor that makes the drama’s concept feel believable. If Wishes Could Kill (Netflix) Medicube Zero Pore Pad 2.0 Olive Young Exclusive! Why K-Dramas Love This Concept K-dramas have always been good at mixing everyday life with a twist. Instead of creating something completely unrealistic, they take something familiar, like a mobile app, and push it into a darker direction. That’s what makes stories like this work. The “wish with consequences” idea also connects easily with viewers. Everyone has thought about what they would change if they could. The drama simply asks the next question: what if that choice came at a cost? If Wishes Could Kill (Netflix) Final Thoughts The Girigo app may not exist in real life, but the idea behind it is what makes it so addictive to watch. It taps into curiosity, temptation, and the fear of losing control, all things that feel very real in today’s world. And maybe that’s why it’s trending so much. Not because people believe it exists, but because a small part of them wonders, what if it did? So, be honest, if an app like this really existed, would you use it? #IfWishesCouldKill #JeonSoYoung #KangMiNa #BaeSunHo #HyunWooSeok
- From Headphones to Heartbeats: The Sweetest ‘Doctor on the Edge’ Couple Scenes So Far
ENA's Doctor on the Edge, starring Lee Jae-wook and Shin Ye-eun, has only been airing for a couple of weeks, but viewers are already obsessing over several adorable moments between the two leads. We give you our 5 sweetest scenes from the trending K-drama so far! Doctor on the Edge still (ENA) Adorable and heart-warming, Doctor on the Edge is the latest slice-of-life drama that has everyone talking! Don't forget to read about why this drama has everyone obsessing about its unique storyline, location, and characters! *Contains Spoilers! The Headphones Scene That Broke K-Drama Twitter At the end of episode 1, Do Ji-ui (Lee Jae-wook) is overwhelmed with emotion by a traumatic experience with the ocean while traveling to Pyeongdong-do, a remote island, to complete his mandatory military service as a public health doctor. In a simple, gentle, and surprising intimate first encounter, Yook Ha-ri (Shin Ye-eun), a nurse from a university hospital, quietly places headphones over Ji-ui's ears, grounding him during a panic-filled moment. Their Chaotic First Ferry Ride Before each realizes they'll be working together, they share a K-dramaland mandatory first awkward moment on their ferry ride to Pyeongdong-do. Ha-ri's carefree demeanor clashes hard with Ji-ui's stressed-out, city-doctor energy, creating the opposites attract energy that fans love! His funny hallucination scene really took us out as ferry onlookers gasped in shock at his crazy actions! Lee Jae-wook stars in the comedy/slice-of-life K-drama Doctor on the Edge (ENA) When Ha-ri Notices His Fear Before Anyone Else While most island residents see Ji-ui as a capable doctor, Ha-ri quickly notices his emotional baggage (see scene 1). She sees his discomfort around water and carries on without making a big fuss. Ji-ui's fear of boats/ferries is clearly noticeable in many of the scenes where he has to get off the island to accompany patients who need more help at a mainland hospital. Kim Ki-jeon as the troublesome Lee Jang-su fisherman in Doctor on the Edge (ENA) The "Proud Smile" After His First Big Save After Ji-ui successfully saves a fisherman during a medical emergency, Ha-ri's reaction says more than words. Instead of being impressed by his credentials (he's a plastic surgeon in real life), she is genuinely proud of him as a person. In this small moment, viewers have begun shipping them harder after this moment. A heart-warming moment in Doctor on the Edge (ENA) Their Island Walks When the action dies down, this drama speaks volumes. During their quiet nights, the characters often take a stroll around the island and oftentimes, "bump" into each other at the local convenience store. Nothing overly romantic happens, but fans can see their chemistry working during these precious scenes. We can only hope it heats up soon, as the last episode suggests! Still from Doctor on the Edge (ENA) Doctor on the Edge airs every Monday and Tuesday at 10 PM KST on ENA/Disney+. The series is projected to have 12 episodes. Final Thoughts Unlike many recent K-drama couples that start with dramatic attraction or friends-to-enemies conflict, Ji-ui and Ha-ri feel refreshingly natural. Their relationship is built upon comfort, trust, and emotional healing rather than grand gestures. The remote island concept also offers a cozy, intimate atmosphere. As you can tell, the Dojeon team is loving this drama! Leave us a comment on your thoughts about this trending couple! #DoctorontheEdge #Kdramacouple
