- 5 Must-Watch School K-dramas At the Start of A New School Year!
Korea is big on high school love and everything in between which includes dressing up in cute couple uniform outfits at the mall and sharing on social media! Let's run through some interesting school K-dramas worth watching as a new Korean school year begins this month! 1. The Heirs This movie definitely trended and is worth re-watching. We saw how Lee Min Ho starred in this movie with Park Shin Hye alongside Choi Jin Hyuk . This centered on class segregation in school, privileged high school students who had family businesses to take over. After Kim Won ( Choi Jin Hyuk ) and his brother Kim Tan( Lee Min Ho ) fought over the possession of the family business, Kim Tan then leaves for America and finds his love, Cha Eun Sang ( Park Shin Hye ). As faith would have it, Cha Eun Sang ends up in the same house and school as Kim Tan back in Korea. 2. Love Alarm I could go on and on about this movie but I have decided to make it short and simple! This movie is about a love triangle between three high school students: Song Kang ( Hwang Sun Oh ), Kim Jo Jo ( Kim So Hyun ) and Jung Ga Ram ( Lee Hye Yeong ) that live in society influenced by a love app that could tell whoever had feelings for you! This movie was so great we all anticipated for season 2! A must watch ya'll! 3. Boys Over Flowers This series definitely brought K-dramas into the limelight as far as I can remember. It starred Lee Min Ho who played Goo Joon Pyo , Koo Hye Sun ( Geum Jan Di ) and Kim Yhun Joong ( Y oon Ji Hoo ). Geum Jan Di attends a school for the elite and falls in love with one of the richest boy in a group of four. There was definitely a lot of drama including a love triangle, class discrimination and everything in between! 4. Reply 1988 This drama takes us back to the year 1988 in a high school setting which centers on a family of five living in the same neighborhood . The main characters were portrayed by Sung Deok Sun , Ryu Jun Yoel , Park Bo Gum , Lee Hye Ri and Lee Dong Hwi . This drama is everything and more from the plot to the amazing soundtrack! 5. Extraordinary You Let's end the list with a comic book based drama played by Kim Hye Yoon who decided to change the plot of the movie to find the love of her life. Ha Ru ( Rowoon ), Lee Jae Wook played the main characters in the movie. I definitely enjoyed listing and wish I could continue, but in the main time let's try focus on these dramas! Let us know which drama you love to re-watch or think is worth watching! #parkshinye #boysoverflowers #theheirs
- Learn Korean From BTS Jimin's "Promise"
BTS 's Jimin has many solo songs that we can learn Korean from! Today we're going to use the words from Jimin's solo "Promise" in sentences that we can use in our daily lives! "Promise" is a sad song where BTS’s Jimin has shared the emotional story behind his first self-composed. Jimin also spoke more specifically about what had inspired him to write the song. ”If I’m having a hard time, I want to be able to say honestly that I’m having a hard time. But because I can’t do that, I get frustrated watching myself. I think that’s why I ended up writing the song.” ● The song lyrics : Sitting alone, my mind keeps going for away 🎵 혼자 주저앉아 생각만 커져가 🎵 Since when did I gave pain to you, you're going further away 🎵언제부터 넌 날 아프게했던가 너조자도 모르잖아🎵 He talked about the song’s lyrics, explaining : “If you listen to the song, I use the word (You) a lot .. (You) actually means (Me). Because this was originally a song that I wanted to write to myself ” -BTS JIMIN Now from the first sentence we could use some words in other sentences. 🎵 혼자 주저앉아 생각만 커져가 🎵 혼자 : alone Example : ● 저는 혼자 만의 시간이 필요해요 I need some time alone. ● 혼자 살다 live alone. 생각: think, remember Example : ● 우산을 어디다 두었는지 생각이 안 난다 I can't remember where I put my umbrella. Back to the second sentence we could also use some words to make other sentences we can use in our daily. 🎵언제부터 넌 날 아프게했던가 너조자도 모르잖아🎵 언제: when Example : ● 서울에는 언제 오셨어요? When did you come to Seoul? 날: day Example : ● 시험 볼 날 이 며칠 안 남았다 We only have a few days left before the examination. 모르다: do not know/understand Example : ● 당신은 모르는 것이 없군요 You seem to know everything ● 나는 모르는 일이에요 I don't know anything about it. Were these sentences useful to you? Do you think that Jimin is finally recovered from his pain? Tell us your opinion in the comments! #promise #kpopsong #easykorean

- "Itaewon Class's" Kim Da Mi Shines In Heartwarming Film "Soulmate" About Everlasting Friendship!
Itaewon Class 's Kim Da Mi shows that female friendship can last longer and stronger than romantic love in her new film Soulmate set to release on March 15, 2023. The remake of the 2016 Chinese movie SoulMate also stars Jeon So Nee ( Our Blooming Youth 2023) as two best friends who meet at 13 and for the next 14 years, the two experience love, jealousy, and personal growth. The film follows Mi So ( Kim Da Mi ) as a free-spirited high school girl who also works part-time as a bartender on Jeju Island . She meets another girl, Ha Eun ( Jeon So Nee ), who is well-behaved at school, and the two strike up a friendship. Beginning in 1998, the girls take a 14-year journey of friendship together. Both female leads deliver a solid emotional performance as Mi So and Ha Eun's friendship deteriorates due to a series of misunderstandings. Mi So abruptly leaves Jeju Island for Seoul and Ha Eun immediately feels emotionally separated from her best friend. Kim Da Mi also posted her version of the trailer on her Instagram! Take a look! The film portrays the female leads from their teens to early 30's therefore capturing their emotional maturity was key to developing each character. When asked about her portrayal of each decade of character, here's what the 27-year-old actress said as she immersed herself in the role for 3 months. "It's an honor to have an opportunity to portray different facets of a character from her late teens through to her early 30s. I could feel Ha Eun's presence even when I was filming alone. The set, props, and lighting helped me to focus on Mi So's feelings" Interrupting the smooth friendship-developing plot is a handsome boy named Jin Woo ( Byeon Woo Seok ( 20th Century Girl 2022). His character adds drama to thicken the plot. "I watched it three times, but it made me cry every time. There's a lot of nostalgia factors in the film because many parts of the story are set in 1998," Byeon said. Are you looking forward to this film? We are looking forward to seeing Kim Da Mi's strong performance! Comment your thoughts below! #kimdami #jeonsonee #soulmate

Just after two episodes into the second season and there's already a buzz going around saying "this might be one of the best K-dramas of the season!" With amazing movie quality cinematography, exotic locations, and a good storyline, the cast has a tremendous advantage in bringing out their best character development! 1. Character Relationships Relationships between the characters is what always marks a good drama. This drama is no different. The easygoing banter between the main characters on the "Taxi crew" are often very funny and relatable. They are able to show their human side by sometimes expressing fear during dangerous situations. For example, in episode 1, when Choi Kyung Koo ( Jang Hyuk Jin The Golden Spoon 2022) and Park Jin Eon ( Bae Yoo Ram Yonder 2022) are on a rescue mission in Vietnam to save Kim Do Ki ( Lee Je Hoon Move To Heaven 2021), they accidentally walk into Madame Lim's hideout with their suitcases and money. Scared, they immidiately run outside. At the same time, Madame Lim has some "evildoer" business to take care of in front of the building taking care of one of her underlings as Kyung Koo and Jin Eon sit across the street pondering how to get their stuff back. We can't forget first and foremost, Taxi Driver is an action drama that brings similarities to superhero movies! Who can forget the "superhero suiting up with his cool car" scene in every superhero movie ever made? Lee Je Hoon is simply perfect for his role as the main character, Kim Do Ki, taxi driver/comedian! He has the perfect mix of "being cool" at times, but breaks up the serious scene with immediate comic relief! With his combination of good looks and smooth moves, who can deny this fun lovable guy as the main character? 3. Emotionally Compelling What draws us into Taxi Driver are the unique cases tied to the main cast. With exotic locations, in this case Vietnam, it gives a breath of fresh air to ordinary K-dramas, normally based in Seoul. The cases are built to draw viewers in and emotionally relate to why our "Taxi Crew" needs to help. The first case of Lee Dong Jae as a teenager trying to help his father's chicken restaurant from closure, but gets caught up in an illegal gambling ring, fill viewers' hearts on an emotional journey between a father and a son. You can catch Taxi Driver 2 every Friday and Saturday evening at 22:00 KST! Watch episodes 1 and 2 here ! So here's three awesome reasons why you should be watching Taxi Driver 2 !
