Step Back in Time Under the Autumn Moon: Gyeongbokgung Palace After Dark. Gyeongbokgung Palace at night - Lewis Hooper Since the weather is cooling down, September is the perfect time to head to Gyeongbokgung Palace for a spectacular night tour. As the tourist season is also in full swing, it's the perfect time for making your own K-drama memories as soon as you step through the historic gates and immerse yourself in Korea's royal dynastic history! Gyeongbokgung Palace at night - Lewis Hooper What's Going On There Dojeon team member Lewis experienced firsthand how great the evening pass is for Gyeongbokgung Palace. Visitors here can explore the full area of the grounds while enjoying illuminated buildings and temples, including the majestic Geunjeongjeon Throne Hall and the breathtaking Gyeonghoeru Pavilion floating on water, which was his favorite stop. Gyeongbokgung Palace at night - Lewis Hooper During the illuminated season, there are also special events and performances, including live traditional musical performances in the ancient courtyards, which make it even more special. Visitors can also upgrade their tickets to a slightly more specialised premium Starlight Tour, where live traditional acoustic numbers and dramatic historical storytelling unfold against the illuminated backdrop of the royal kitchens and royal library. Opening Hours & Price Gyeongbokgung Palace at night - Lewis Hooper Visiting for the special nighttime illuminations is really affordable. General admission tickets are only 3,000 KRW (USD 2.17) for adults; however, if you dress up in Korean traditional clothes (Hanbok), then you can enter and enjoy the events free of charge. Even at 3,000 KRW, it is half the price of a beer, so there is no excuse not to visit this amazing and historical destination. This year's autumn night viewing is from September 2nd through October 2nd, every Wednesday to Sunday between 7 pm and 9:30 pm, with the last admission at 8:30 pm. Mondays and Tuesdays, however, are both closed days for the palace. About Lewis' Experience & Why After Dark Is More Special Than the Day Gyeongbokgung Palace at night - Lewis Hooper There has always been something special about exploring the city after dark. For Lewis, being able to wander through the quieter courtyards and see such historic buildings lit up under traditional lanterns made the special atmosphere even more memorable. The night glow really created that special K-drama moment that the daytime can simply not replicate. On top of this, the cooler nights made it much more enjoyable for walking around and enjoying what Gyeongbokgung had to offer. Final Thoughts Gyeongbokgung Palace at night - Lewis Hooper For Lewis Hooper and the Dojeon Media team, being able to experience such an iconic part of Seoul and taking in the deep history of Gyeongbokgung during the autumn night opening is an absolute must. Wanna One members to reunite for their highly anticipated 2026 comeback project (Credits: Swing Entertainment) After seven years of waiting, iconic K-pop group Wanna One is finally coming back, and fans around the world are celebrating. The group that was formed through Produce 101 Season 2  in 2017 has officially announced a special reunion project planned for the first half of 2026. This news has brought immense excitement to longtime fans known as "Wannables" . This is not just speculation. The comeback has been officially confirmed, and here is everything you should know! A Legendary Group Returns Wanna One debuted in 2017 through the survival program Produce 101 Season 2  and quickly rose to become one of the most successful K-pop groups of their generation. With hit songs like "Energetic", "Boomerang", and "Burn It Up", they gained massive popularity in a short time. However, their activities officially ended in 2019 after a final concert, leaving fans heartbroken. Since then, the members have focused on solo careers, acting projects, and different music ventures. Even so, fans never stopped hoping for a reunion. On January 1, 2026, a short teaser video titled “2026 Coming Soon We’ll Meet Again” was released on the official Mnet Plus channel. The video showed a nostalgic cassette tape along with a brief clip of their emotional song "Spring Breeze". It ended with the phrase "We Go Again", clearly hinting that a reunion was in preparation. What Is the Reunion Project? Instead of announcing a new album immediately, Wanna One confirmed that their reunion will begin with a new reality television program. The purpose of the show is to reconnect with fans and allow viewers to see the members naturally interacting together again. According to the official statement, all members agreed that a variety program would be the best way to meet fans first, as this format is something Wannables truly enjoy. The show is scheduled to air in the first half of 2026, and more details are expected to be revealed soon. This project marks the first time in years that all eleven members will participate together in a group activity that fans can watch. Wanna One (Credits: Swing Entertainment) Members’ Emotional Messages What has made this reunion even more meaningful is the way the members personally addressed fans. In early February, handwritten letters from all eleven members were shared, expressing their excitement and gratitude about reuniting after such a long time. Many of them spoke about how special their time as Wanna One was and how thankful they feel toward fans who continued to support them throughout the years. These sincere messages have made the reunion even more emotional and highly anticipated. Why This Reunion Matters This comeback is important not only because Wanna One was one of the most influential third-generation K-pop groups, but also because a full group reunion after so many years is rare. Members have built individual careers under different companies, which often makes scheduling group activities difficult. The fact that all eleven members have agreed to reunite shows their strong bond and their appreciation for fans. Even though the project starts with a reality show instead of new music, it still represents an important chapter in their story. What Comes Next? While the reality show is the only confirmed project for now, fans are already hoping for more. Many are wondering if the reunion could eventually lead to new music releases or even concerts. There has been no official confirmation about albums or tours yet. However, the overwhelming excitement surrounding the announcement proves that demand is very high. For many fans, this reunion already feels like a celebration of memories, growth, and the group’s lasting impact on K-pop. Final Thoughts Wanna One’s 2026 comeback may not begin with a traditional album, but it carries deep emotional meaning. It is a reunion that honors their journey and the fans who never stopped waiting. Whether you supported them from their debut days or discovered them later, this moment is special for many. The return of Wanna One reminds everyone why they were so loved in the first place. Are you excited to watch their reality show? What moment are you most looking forward to seeing again? #WannaOne #ParkJiHoon #reunion #KangDaniel
