Mr. Hong admits he made it with his friends, which I have to say, the chocolate sounds delicious The older gentleman pats Mr. Hong on the shoulder and tells him today is just the start, and as the older gentleman disappears into the night, Mr. Hong remembers him from when he was a child and is overwhelmed with gratitude for the comfort this man gave him. This does tend to happen often in Korean relationships both professionally and privately. Seul Gi has learned that she never wanted to step out of her comfort zone and that her positivity exhausted her co-workers, ruined Mr. Hong’s solitude, and hurt her friends. Mr. Hong sees things differently: because Seul Gi showed up, he ate noodles with friends for the first time, made memories in his workshop, made friends with young people who love chocolate, and the happiness she gave him made his time that had stood still start moving again. Legendary R&B singer/songwriter, producer, and musical actor Wheesung , known for his soulful voice, was found dead at his Seoul home on Monday, March 10, 2025. He was 43 years old. Wheesung (Credits: Udayavani.com) He was found unresponsive by his mother, who also lives in the same apartment, at 6:29 PM by local responders. He was later scheduled to meet with his manager, but couldn't be reached. His agency, Tajoy Entertainment, said, " Artist Wheesung has left us. He was found in cardiac arrest at his residence and was later pronounced dead. We are all in deep sorrow." Wheesung released his first solo album Like A Movie in 2002, which became very popular and received much praise. Followed by his second, even more popular album It's Real , solidified him to be one of the best-selling artists in South Korea of 2003. In 2013, the singer was accused of using propofol , which is used for helping someone sleep or relax before and during medical procedures, from 2011 to early 2013. He was cleared of all allegations. He later was once involved in the recreational use of propofol in 2020 and was sentenced to one year in prison with a probation of two years, 40 hours of community service, and 40 hours of drug treatment lectures. Wheesung's funeral service has been delayed due to his family still in shock. He was scheduled to perform in Daegu for his " Wheesung X KCM Concert in Daegu" this Saturday on March 15. I don’t have anything against her as she is one of the realest characters in Kdramaland, and whatever mean things she has done are not hostile and justifiable through her lens of perspective. In terms of acting, there’s no doubt that Jang Na Ra nailed it well, be it as a housewife, mother and even when she was in her 20s. Seri literally crash lands into Jeong Hyoek’s life, and the drama deals with the many, many complications that arise from a South Korean being hidden in North Korea. Surprisingly, my favorite parts of the K-drama were spent in North Korea. Unfortunately, I found it was a little too hard to suspend my disbelief in the parts that took place in South Korea and Switzerland. You can see a mother's sacrifice, although poor, will do anything to help her daughter succeed — the small battles matter! Gwan Sik and Ae Sun share their first kiss! Park Bo Gum and IU are meant for each other! (Credits: Netflix) Like most K-drama slice of life genres Gwan Sik ( Park Bo Gum ) and Ae Sun (IU ) share their first kiss most innocently and romantically, in a field of canola flowers! Unaware of each other's feelings for each other, they both confess simultaneously and it turns out that they have liked each other for years! We can see that this childhood first love can turn into something more as they grow older. By the way, who professes their love like these two? Ae Sun finds out that she's the one actually standing in Gwan Sik's way Gwan Sik's mother tells Ae Sun the hard truth in episode 3 (Credits: Netflix) In an emotional third episode, Ae Sun meets with Gwan Sik's mother after their Busan fiasco only to be set up for a marriage to a man in his 30s with two children. She asks Gwan Sik's mother if Gwan Sik was really good at sports and his mother pleads with Ae Sun to let Gwan Sik go so that "he can live his life to the fullest". Ae Sun decides to "let" Gwan Sik go, but we find out that Ae Sun is why Gwan Sik is a great athlete! Gwan Sik proves us that love is greater than anything at the end of episode 3 when he decides to jump off the boat and swim back to Ae Sun! Ae Sun's cry for help actually brought Gwan Sik back to her (Credits: Netflix) Gwan Sik decides to take his family away from the in-laws Gwan Sik takes his family away from the overbearing in-laws (Credits: Netflix) In a bold move, Gwan Sik decides to take his new wife and daughter away from his overbearing parents and grandmother. Without a dime under their name, the young family decides to strike out on their own, against Gwan Sik's family's requests. This decision made us admire his courage and made us feel that although the journey will be difficult, he did it out of love for Ae Sun.
