If you enjoy a good mystery and an intriguing K-drama, this one's for you! Sarah Kim (Shin Hye-sun) lives a life based on lies, deceit, and cunning. She has created a life based on a false identity, living in the upper echelons of society. Her disguise is compromised when a woman's body, believed to be hers, is found in the sewer in Seoul's wealthy neighborhood.
Sarah's case is investigated by Detective Park Mu-gyeong (Lee Jun-hyuk), who finds inconsistencies in her background and threatens to expose that she has lived under multiple identities. As the case unfolds, Sarah's life, built on lies and deception, comes under fire and threatens to expose her true self.

Hidden meanings behind Sarah's intentions/actions

Shin Hye-sun is a master at disguise
Showcasing her versatile acting skills, Shin Hye-sun portrays three distinct characters in the drama. As "Sarah Kim", the Asia region head of Boudoir, a luxury brand that only caters to the elite 0.1% of society, she is a strong, calculated woman who knows her next move and can deceive her newest bestie, Jeong Yeo-jin (Park Bo-kyung), the CEO of Nox.
As "Mok Ga-hui", a helpless victimized salesperson at Samwol Department Store who had to hold several part-time jobs to cover the cost of the items lost when she had to use the restroom, a thief stole her store's merchandise. She uses her "in" with the department store to start her side hustle of reselling luxury bags.
As "Kim Eun-jae", a bar hostess and wife to an abusive husband, she can lure Kang Ji-hwon (Kim Jae-won), a male escort who falls in love with her, into doing whatever she wants. Using her position as a bar hostess, she cons an older, wealthy loan shark gentleman, Hong Seung-sin, with kidney failure, into a fake marriage.
These three different women have nothing in common except one thing: Shin Hye-sun is the puppet master and all of her victims are her playthings.
