Ahn Hyo-seop Revives Vintage Chic with Skinny Scarf at the Met Gala 2026

At Met Gala 2026, Ahn Hyo-seop didn’t just make an entrance; he made a statement. The Sold Out on You star arrived for his debut in a custom Valentino look that balanced classic tailoring with a fresh, almost rebellious twist. And yes, the skinny scarf is officially back on the radar!

Ahn’s outfit played with texture and shine. He wore a black suit detailed with gold sequins, layered over a silky gold shirt that caught the light with every step. The standout, though, was the slim red scarf draped effortlessly around his neck. It added just enough drama without trying too hard. Gold-studded shoes and a traditional-style button detail grounded the look, tying it neatly to the night’s “Fashion Is Art” theme.


It’s been a packed year for Ahn. He’s currently leading the SBS drama alongside Chae Won-bin, Kim Bum, and Go Doo-shim. Before this, he also stepped onto the Oscars red carpet with the cast of KPop Demon Hunters, where his understated suit and handheld fan gave off a completely different vibe-lowkey, practical, and quietly cool.



The Met Gala, however, called for something louder. And Ahn delivered. He wasn’t the only Korean star turning heads. Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa returned as seasoned Met attendees, while Karina brought a modern twist to tradition in a Prada-inspired hanbok look.




Ahn even shared a quick reunion moment with Jisoo, a nod to their past collaboration that fans immediately clocked online.
