Unveiling BUTTERFLY: Behind the Scenes of the Spy Thriller
Our veteran writer Lewis Hooper, was fortunate to work as an extra on this exciting new show for a number of scenes. Because the show has not yet been released, he is unable to go into specifics of the filming, however he mentioned that "it was a fantastic experience working on the show" he went on to mention that "although the filming days were long, often leaving Seoul at around 4 or 5am, and getting back into Seoul around 8 or 9pm. "The sets were really impressive, I filmed around four or five days on this drama, so the filming time was a lot more meticulous to other dramas that I have worked on in the past", he said. "In fact, there were a lot of extras mainly for the market and street scenes, and my favorite has to be filming at the train station."
Lewis Hooper, then went onto mention, "Since the production is an Amazon Prime drama, it felt that everyone on set got treated better to some other OTT platforms, and the stars were also friendly and charismatic making jokes with the extras on set, so it did not feel like an 18 hour day, I am exited to see the show come together".
