K-pop royalty G-Dragon and fast-food giant McDonald's have officially partnered up with a high-energy pan-Asian campaign that K-pop fans cannot wait to get their hands on. This one-of-a-kind collaboration fuses some of Asia's most-loved street food flavours with classic, craveable comfort food, and our writer Lewis Hooper tried it for himself to see if these flavors lived up to the hype.

Merch on Offer & What Makes It Special

This one-of-a-kind rollout showcases specialty items like the Gochujang Butter Chicken burgers alongside themed sides, desserts, and dipping sauces. The pricing depends on the meal that you select as well as the add-ons; however, you can expect to pay anywhere from $2 to $10 USD for individual items and value meals. So, is this price point worth it?

This campaign stands out not only because one of K-pop's biggest names has endorsed it, but it has also stood out thanks to its custom-designed product packaging and the one-of-a-kind merchandise that TANDAN and G-Dragon's fashion label PEACEMINUSONE created. K-pop fans are well known for collecting merchandise, and who doesn't love a cheeky McDonald's now and again? The collectible items on offer include mystery photo cards to heavily drive collector excitement and trends on SNS!

What His Fans Are Saying

Dedicated fans are flooding social media with creative reels and pure excitement over the exclusive collaboration, especially when it comes to the wearable accessories.

Many avid supporters have also been organizing community meetups just to secure the rare merchandise drops before local supplies completely run out.

The Dojeon Media team is wondering, though, if this merchandise will see much higher resale on third-party apps like the Labubu craze.

Our Reaction to Trying It

Our writer Lewis Hooper tried the new hamburger range first-hand at Daegu's Suseong branch and went for the rich and buttery gochujang. He thought that the sauce could easily become addictive, as it had a kick of savoury spice while keeping a creamy, rich texture. Could this be one of McDonald's ranges to cross over onto their regular menu?

Final Thoughts

For the Dojeon Media team, this brand-new, high-profile partnership helps to prove that music, fast food, and fashion can work together to deliver something incredible, but what's more, it is a massive cultural movement bringing some of pan-Asia's most-loved flavors to a global market base.

This is of course not the first K-pop act to team up with McDonald's, as BTS in the past have also had the merchandise range. Could K-pop be one of the main promoters for marketing fast food in 2026? If you get the chance, then you HAVE to try this limited-time range while supplies last!
