Get Ready For BLACKPINK's Comeback!


Global mega superstar K-pop group Blackpink is poised to make its long-awaited comeback and possible concert tour this year hinted in a Rolling Stone interview published on May 26. Jennie said, in the interview, that the group is preparing for the "next busy two years," while Jisoo added, "I want to come back with music quickly." If the rumors are true, this will mark the group's return with all members in two years since its debut full-length album, "The Album", in October 2020.

The first hint of the group's comeback was through an interview with Jennie on the Korean variety show The Game Caterers 2.


"BLACKPINK is also making a comeback soon. I don't know if I'm allowed to say this, but since I'm the only one here, I'll just say it. Please look forward to it,"

While YG Entertainment has refused to confirm these rumors, the quartet has been seen more at public events most recently during Queen Elizabeth II's 96th birthday.

Blackpink made their debut in 2016 with their debut album Square One which contained "Boombayah" and "Whistle" The single reached number one on the Billboard World Digital Songs chart, making BLACKPINK the fastest act to ever do so, and only the third Korean artists to reach the accolade. "Boombayah" has been watched over 1.4 billion times on YouTube. Their YouTube channel is ranked number 12 in the world with a total of 74.2 million subscribers.
