Meet the cast

Starring the Korean icon Don Lee, the film is set to reunite him with the director who initially helmed him in two installments of the globally successful franchise The Roundup, which some say was a pivotal point in his career!

The star line up will also feature an international cast including Michael Rooker who is best known for playing roles in The Walking Dead and Guardians of the Galaxy, followed by Colin Woodell who you may recognize from The Continental Pulse, Ali Ahn from The Diplomat and a fellow Brit, Abraham Popoola best known for his work in The Marvels, Atlas.

What is the film about?

Using the iconic backdrop for the U.S. and Mexico, Pig Village is set to follow Hammer (Lee), who is a brave boxer, who becomes involved in a deadly web of crime and corruption as he is tasked with botching a fixed fight in San Diego.

Later, he soon finds out that he has involved himself in the crosshairs of deadly cartel fugitives, criminals, and corrupt law enforcement at Pig Village. This is the last stop hotel near the border, where chaos takes over, and everyone around is after the same pot of money! This new movie is set to have fans on the edge of their seats throughout, as this film promises a wild storyline!

Breaking boundaries

This close-knit collaboration between the K-film industry and Hollywood allows for Pig Village to bring a unique, yet original blend of talent to a global audience. The film is set to break boundaries, as it is a true Hollywood-style film, using the Korean production system, and as a result, blends the strengths of both film industries and talents. It will also break boundaries, as the first large-scale English language film to be mostly produced in South Korea. Could this be the start of something more?
