A City in Chaos, A Team on the Run

The main poster shows Haeseong City completely falling apart- cars mid-air, collapsing buildings, and total disorder everywhere. The tagline says it all: “Lovable misfits will save the world.” Right through the chaos, four unlikely heroes are sprinting forward:

  • Park Eun-bin as Eun Chae-ni, leading from the front

  • Cha Eun-woo as Lee Un-jeong, calmly using telekinesis

  • Choi Dae-hoon as Son Gyeong-hun, holding onto a car steering wheel like it’s nothing

  • Im Seong-jae as Kang Ro-bin, with a chunk of wall wrapped around his arm

Ordinary Lives Turned Super Strange

The teaser opens on a dramatic note-Eun Chae-ni bleeding from her nose while asking, “So I’m really going to die?” She’s known in Haeseong as a bit of a troublemaker who once joked about wanting the world to end. Ironically, she suddenly gains the power of teleportation.

Meanwhile, Kang Ro-bin and Son Gyeong-hun are struggling to adjust to their new abilities, clearly not built for “hero life". On the other hand, Lee Un-jeong looks like a natural, effortlessly controlling objects with telekinesis—so much so that the others start calling him “master.”

A Dark Mystery Begins to Surface

Just when things start to settle, the tone shifts. A warning appears: people are disappearing just like they did 20 years ago. This pulls in more mystery characters, including Dr. Ha Won-do, played by Son Hyun-joo, along with a group called the “Wunderkinder", hinting at a deeper, possibly darker experiment behind the chaos in Haeseong City. The teaser closes on a more emotional note.

Eun Chae-ni says, “It’s not that I’m nothing, I just haven’t done anything yet.” With that, the four misfits stand together, ready to face whatever is coming next. The WONDERfools premieres on May 15 on Netflix.
