The latest episodes of the thrilling action/suspense drama Pandora: Beneath the Paradise have got us squirming in our seats! The director of Hanwool mental hospital, Kim Sun Deok ( Shim So Young Taxi Driver 2 2023), crashes Pyo Jae Hyun's ( Lee Sang Yoon One the Woman 2021) announcement party to run for the presidential candidacy. Hong Tae Ra ( Lee Ji Ah ) is shaken, but a little curious as to why Sun Deok is present holding her daughter's hand and asks her what she is doing with her husband. At the same moment, Tae Ra remembers that she had a brother when she looks at Sun Deok. Meanwhile, Go Hae Soo is shaken by her husband's infidelity with Tae Ra's boss and sister, Hong Yu Ra ( Han Soo Yeon Flower of Evil 2020). She drives away into the woods emotionally as Tae Ra follows her to console her. As the two are talking, Hae Soo's car explodes, almost badly injuring both of them. Tae Ra goes to Sun Deok demanding an answer as she has a hunch that it was Sun Deok behind the attack. Sun Deok explains that Hae Soo has been snooping around her compound and threatened to expose her operation, so she had no choice but to try to kill Hae Soo. Tae Ra pays Sun Deok to help her find her memories and reveal the truth about her past. As Hae Soo begins to dig up information about Hanwool's past and finds out that there was a patient there who was a nurse 20 years ago, and suspects there's a person called No. 50 behind the assassination of her father. As she begins to piece the information together, she finds out that the killer had a missing part of her ear and when she visits Tae Ra, she also sees that part of Tae Ra's ear is missing! This is when Hae Soo starts to doubt Tae Ra's honesty all these years. Episode 4 begins with a flashback to 13 years ago in France, as Hae Soo, Tae Ra, Pyo Jae Hyun, and Jang Do Jin ( Park Ki Woong The King's Affection 2021) are on a yacht. We find that Hae Soo is driven to suicide because of her father's death and it is Tae Ra who saves her. Back to the present, Hae Soo begins to suspect Tae Ra has something to do with her father's death and begins to follow her. She even sees Tae Ra go to a plastic surgery hospital to get her ear fixed. Eventually, she sees Tae Ra meeting Sun Deok which seems to be the last straw in her trust in her as she starts to believe that Tae Ra is the person who killed her father. Driven by rage, Hae Soo decides to get revenge by picking up Tae Ra's daughter, Pyo Ji Woo, from school to hold her hostage. The episode finishes with Tae Ra racing to catch up to Hae Soo in her car to stop her from hurting her daughter. Wow! What a couple of episodes! Yeon Jin's mother devises a plan to kill Hyeon Nam's husband by saying that it was a car accident. Yeon Jin finds out about this and approaches Hyeon Nam and berates her about Hyeon Nam's daughter. Hyeon Nam has enough of Ji Yeon for calling her a murderer and slaps her with a badass comment! "First, I have something to return to you, ma'am." Then proceeds to keep on slapping Ji Yeon. Dong Eun sends a video of Yeon Jin's murder weapon In a thrilling twist, Dong Eun sends a video of the bottle of alcohol Yeon Jin used to kill Son Myeong Oh to Yeon Jin. Yeon Jin desperate to figure out the bottle ends up at the scene of the crime and rushes to Jeon Jae Jun's store where it is flooded with cops and a forensic team. Needless to say, Yeon Jin is arrested on the spot and sent to prison. But how did the murder weapon end up in Dong Eun's hands? In a surprising twist, we find out that Jae Jun's store clerk, Kim Gyeong Ran has been sleeping in the store and found Myeong Oh on the ground after he is beaten over the head with the bottle. He asks her to get his phone, but in a fit of rage, Gyeong Ran hits him over the head with the same bottle, killing him! Gyeong Ran calls Dong Eun to figure out how to get rid of the murder weapon. Dong Eun tells her that even though she killed Myeong Oh, Yeon Jin has always been the killer and should be sent to prison.
