With much excitement, BTS's RM on May 10th, 2024 released his single "Come back to me" and has garnered over 12 million views on YouTube! Here is Dojeon team member, Lewis's, honest review on this highly-anticipated comeback! RM (Rap Monster) had great success as a member of the K-pop band BTS, and his solo single "Come back to me" really made me feel emotional. There was no particular part of the song that made me emotional, but it just pulled on my heartstrings. Let me tell you why! L et's check out the M/V first! I also think that the more toned down, and chilled-out vibe that this single projected was a clever idea, to remove the glamourous stages and dance routines and simply show him as an artist individually so that his fans could get to know him on a more personal level. I can't even pinpoint the parts of it that do so, but it just tugs at the heartstrings. I felt like I was on the verge of crying the whole time, and it broke me at 3:37 when Namjoon started smiling just as the drums came in. It just feels like this whole project is so, so important for him. What a masterpiece in storytelling too! Joon did so well in every scene and I couldn't take my eyes off him, because it showed the difference in their careers and their journey from when they first started to where they are today! The video made me think about how fast life moves, one moment you are young hanging out with your friends, and then the next you are working, married, or have kids. I think that his video really highlights the importance of enjoying life. The acting was also very good and told his story. RM's second solo album "Right place, wrong person" will be released on May 24th, 2024 at 1 pm KST/ 0 am EST. BTS's V will feature in a unique photobook exhibition, his inner self! Read on for more details! Now with the boys exploring solo careers, and with the highly anticipated upcoming release of Kim Taehyung's ( V of BTS ) "TYPE 1" photo book, HYBE has announced the "ARTSPACE: TYPE 1" global exhibition. With this news, fans have started to get hyped, and of course they are right to do so. For me, art is not high on my interest list, but once a BTS member is mentioned alongside, my ears start to open up a little. This special exhibition will be filled with Taehyung's distinctive style and will showcase moments of relaxation, which form the main theme of his "TYPE 1" photobook to aid the release of his new solo album. Type 1 concept teaser: This special exhibition will feature a variety of zones, alongside experience areas, where fans will be able to see the BTS star as some of his more vulnerable and relaxed moments, which have not been seen before. I think for me, this would allow me to feel closer to the star, behind the stage lights, make up and production. The design of these spaces reflects the flow of the photobook’s chapters, allowing visitors to experience the atmosphere in person. K-pop fans were alarmed and triggered by some K-media outlets when they found out that their beloved Suga from the global phenomenon BTS came under investigation due to a DUI incident. New footage has been released and we are here to share it! Read on to find out the truth! K-media outlet DongA Ilbo has been credited with releasing the latest footage of Suga's DUI accident . The footage shows the K-pop star losing balance and falling over while manning an electric scooter. The new footage went viral as fans reacted to the clip. The CCTV footage obtained by DongA Ilbo showed the K-pop star at 11:10 PM on Sunday passing by three police officers patrolling the sidewalk near Nainon Hannam in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, and fell while turning left in front of the main gate of Nainon Hannam. The police approached Suga, who was picking up his helmet, and tried to help him. In the process, they confirmed that Suga was operating the electric scooter under the influence and conducted a breathalyzer test. The results showed that the star's blood alcohol level was 0.227 percent, which is the level at which they can revoke his driver's license. According to the police, Suga had a drink with acquaintances at a restaurant near Hannam Ogeori around 9 p.m. on the day of the incident and then moved to a private studio together to drink. He returned home around 11 p.m. on his electric scooter. The studio was found to be about 500 meters away from Nine One South. DongA Ilbo shed light about some inaccurate broadcasts of some K-news outlets as it turned out that "Suga was not the one in the video riding an electric scooter on the road" ! In the video, the electric scooter is running from across the street from Nine-in-One South toward Namsan, but Suga returned to the sidewalk toward Nine-in-One South, and the route was different. The report that Suga hit the boundary stone and fell was also found to be untrue. Fans were outraged once they found out this happened. HYBE subsidiary BigHit Music , home to global K-pop sensations BTS and Tomorrow X Together is holding auditions for its next boy group! Read on to find out more details on how to apply! Beginning on Thursday, May 5, 2024, BigHit Music is accepting submissions to audition for their next global boy group! Online submissions will be held on BigHit Music's website and will run through August 31, 2024. Walk-in auditions will start on June 1 and run through August 31 in 17 cities including Hawaii, Vancouver, Sydney, Oakland, Bangkok, Tokyo, and Seoul. Walk-in auditions will start at noon, with in-person sign-ups opening from 11 a.m. They do not require online preregistration, according to BigHit Music. Any male born during or after the year 2006 can apply.
