  • "Castaway Diva" Ep. 11: Justice & Pain! [Episode 11 & 12 Spoilers]

Watching Episode 11 gave us a lot of feels! We felt justice, joy, sadness, relief, and suspense! First of all, if you haven't read our other Castaway Diva articles you should check those out on our site! This article is mainly about episode 11 but has some spoilers of episode 12 too, so be mindful if you haven't watched yet! We will write another article about episode 12! Episode 11: RECAP Episode 11 was packed with revelations and major plot points! Namely, Yoon Ran Joo and Seo Mok Ha's press conference, Yoon Ran Joo's interaction with Kim Jun Heon, and how he claimed that she was the "trash" RJ Entertainment had to get rid of to succeed (despite the company being named after her), Yoon Ran Joo's mother passing away, the court proceedings for identity theft, the results of the hearing for the identity theft, the insurance man and Ki Ho 's school friend AKA Dae Woong surviving, the Kang Sang Du (the real dad) getting stabbed and of course the KISS! Wow, that's a lot! So we decided to cover each final episode with its own article! This is the article for episode 11! JUSTICE is Served What stood out for us in this episode was the justice served at the hearing for the family's identity theft. Of course, we knew that the adoptive father Kang Sang Du was a good person, he helped a family he didn't even know and essentially saved their lives! He also showed the integrity of his character by reporting himself before Jung Bong Wan could do any more damage. You can see that he really treasures and loves his family. This also, really shows that you don't have to be related to really love the people you meet in life which is a beautiful thing! The Justice of the Hearing: Realizations and Bitterness After having watched many K-dramas and seeing villainous characters succeed (maybe we've seen that a bit in real life too) it was so satisfying to see the prosecutor doing the cross-examination see the truth of the matter - but you kind of do wonder as well if this happens as much in real life. Anyway, for us it was a very weighted, yet pleasant surprise that he could see through Jung Bong Wan's supposed "love" for his family. It made us a little angry as well the way he referred to his family throughout the series, as if they were his property and that they needed to be "punished" to restart. What nonsense. The Stab: Desperation and Doom It's nice when the mother Song Ha Jeong narrates at the end - and you can see that the family overall turned out better as they were forgiving. The mother handing the umbrella to Jung Bong Wan, despite them knowing he tried to murder someone? Or maybe she didn't know at that moment but we thought it was crazy! Also, it is so true that people choose what they want in life and it's either they can forgive or just be peaceful and move on or they stay bitter and cling to the negative only to keep falling down and eventually hitting the bottom, as did Jung Bong Wan - he didn't love his family, he just couldn't get his "property" back and didn't see the error in his ways. There was no turning back for him. So he stabs Kang Sang Du thinking that he would have some sort of disturbing justice, and ends his own life so his wife had to remain his wife forever, he was just so bitter, it consumed him. Anyway, we are glad that Kang Sang-du survived and is thriving in Dramaland! We don't know what we would have done if he passed! THE KISS Sunshine-filled, joyous, and happy. For us that was definitely one of the warmest, most wholesome K-Drama kisses we have seen! There's not much more to say about it. It was beautiful and I hope our readers (if they wish) can experience a love as warm and gentle as that depicted in that kiss! We're going to write about episode 12 in another article! Is there anything you'd like us to cover? Comment below to let us know! #castawaydiva #castawaydivaepisode11 #drama #kdrama #korea #seoul #parkeunbin

  • "Race Across the World" features Korean hot spots! [Ep. 2 & 3]

The Korean hotspots of Busan , Daejeon , and Sokcho were all featured in series 4 of the popular BBC series Race Across the World . If you have not watched this show yet, then you absolutely should! This British TV show is now in its fourth season, and sees contestants travel around the world from a starting destination to an end destination with checkpoints along the way! Sounds easy? Well, contestants are not allowed to take any flights and have to travel by rail, road, or sea, with the amount of money that it would cost to travel by air. In the latest episode, the teams had to reach their second checkpoint in the seaside city of Sokcho in South Korea, and they all had to balance speed and potential work opportunities along the way. With their previous checkpoint in Nara, Japan . The largest port city, Busan was, of course, featured in this episode as contestants traveled from Fukuoka, Japan to Busan, Korea and the center of Korea, Daejeon, was also featured! In Busan, one group of contestants picked up work at the world-famous Jagalchi Fish Market . You can see the feature of Korea around 29 minutes into the episode on BBC or through YouTube. Coming from the UK, I found it extremely interesting to see like-minded reactions to South Korea and Korean culture, especially with the fish market and cultural differences between the two countries. If you are instead in Korea and traveling, I highly recommend watching these episodes and this series! Let us know in the comments below what you think of this series! #RaceAcrosstheWorld #Busan #Sokcho #Daejeon

The Trauma Code Set for Potential Seasons 2 & 3 (Credits: Netflix) Netflix 2025 started strong with The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call , a short medical comedy-drama that became one of the most unexpected hits of the year. Within just a few days of its release, the drama climbed the Netflix charts and earned global attention. It won over audiences with its mix of hospital chaos, heartfelt teamwork, and sharp humor. The story centered on Baek Kang-hyuk ( Ju Ji-hoon ), a brilliant yet chaotic trauma surgeon. His bold methods and unshakable charisma quickly made him the heart of the show. Though the finale tied up some threads, many viewers felt the ending hinted at more to come. The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call Becomes Netflix’s Breakout Hit of 2025! The series was adapted from a popular web novel , which still has plenty of chapters left untold. Fans noticed this immediately and began speculating about future seasons. Even before official news dropped, viewers sensed that the story was never meant to end with just one season. Adding to the excitement, the drama went on to sweep multiple awards. At the Baeksang Arts Awards , Ju Ji-hoon won Best Actor . At the Blue Dragon Series Awards , both him and Baek Gang-hyeok ( Choo Young-woo ) received honors. Choo took home Best New Actor , and the series itself was crowned Best Drama . The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call  (Credits: Netflix) Netflix Responds to Season 2 and 3 Rumors of The Trauma Code In September 2025,  Xports News reported that Netflix had confirmed production of both  Season 2 and Season 3 of The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call . However, Netflix’s official stance is more cautious. A spokesperson said, “We are reviewing the production of a sequel to The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call , but nothing has been confirmed yet.” This isn’t unusual for Netflix. The streaming giant often stays quiet, keeping fans in suspense until suddenly dropping teasers, posters, or casting news. Many believe the same strategy is being followed here, raising anticipation even higher. The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call  (Credits: Netflix) Kim Jae-won’s Possible Main Role in The Trauma Code Season 2 One of the biggest talking points among fans is the possible return of Kim Jae-won . In Episode 7, he appeared in a cameo role as an army doctor during a war-zone mission, where the trauma team was sent to treat injured soldiers. By the end of Season 1, Kim Jae-Won’s character was seen joining the trauma department. Baek Gang-Hyeok ( Choo Young-woo ) shook hands with him, welcoming him to the department with a new nickname, "Number 2". Because of this, many predict that Kim Jae-won will step into a main role in the next season. His addition could bring fresh energy and new conflicts to the already dynamic trauma team. The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call  (Credits: Netflix) The Story of The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call and Its Beloved Characters At its heart, The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call  tells the story of the underfunded trauma department of a university hospital. Baek Kang-Hyuk ( Ju Ji-Hoon ), with his wit and experience, rebuilds the neglected unit, forming a special team. He is joined by Baek Gang-hyeok ( Choo Young-woo ), the timid yet committed junior surgeon. Alongside them is Cheon Jang-mi ( Ha Young ), a skilled nurse, and Park Gyeong-won ( Jeong Jae-kwang ), the resident anesthesiologist. Together, they put patients’ lives above all else. At the same time, they fight hospital politics and push for reforms to finally prioritize emergency medicine. The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call  Press Conference (Credits: Netflix) Fans Anticipated a Sequel After The Trauma Code’s Ending Though Netflix insists production is still under review, all signs point to a continuation. The creator has hinted at multiple seasons from the very beginning. The cast has expressed their willingness to return, and fans are louder than ever in their demand for a sequel. With rumors of Seasons 2 and 3 in development, and Kim Jae-won’s possible promotion to a lead role, expectations couldn’t be higher. Final Thoughts The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call  proved itself as one of Netflix’s most powerful Korean dramas of 2025. It blended heart, humor, and medical complications into one unforgettable series. While official confirmation is still pending, the story, the hints, and the cast’s energy all suggest that we’ll be heading back into the trauma ward very soon. • Baby Boy Doll In "Squid Game 2" Ending? Here's what you need to know for season 3!

New Doll was introduced in the post-credit scene of Squid Game 2 After nearly two years Squid Game season 2 finally premiered over this Holiday Season. However, the second season doesn’t conclude the deadly games or Gi Hun's mission to expose them to the world. If you’ve already watched season 2, you know it ends with a cliffhanger, leaving fans with numerous questions and theories about what’s next. Thankfully, season 3 is confirmed for a 2025 release, so the wait won’t be as long this time! Spoilers! One of the most striking moments from the finale is the introduction of a baby boy doll during the end credits. This  reveal has sparked countless fan theories and excitement across social media. The baby boy doll is none other than Cheol Su, the boyfriend of Young Hee, the "Red Light, Green Light" doll. This twist aligns with a statement from the director, who teased years ago, “You’ll also be introduced to Young Hee’s boyfriend, Cheol-su". Young Hee and Cheol Su characters from children's book The big question now is: What kind of game will these two dolls be involved in? One theory suggests that, after Gi Hun’s strategy of forming a single line to evade Young Hee’s motion sensors, the Front Man may add Cheol Su to attack players from behind. This could eliminate more contestants and further traumatize Gi Hun. Young Hee and Cheol Su are iconic characters from South Korean children’s books of the 1970s and 1980s. They were used in school textbooks to teach moral lessons and etiquette, but here, their roles take a sinister turn. Squid Game 2 Post Credits Scene (Credits: Netflix) In this context, Cheol Su might serve as Young Hee’s counterpart in the new, more horrifying games. The traffic light symbol spotted in the finale suggests a different game altogether, possibly more spine-chilling than the original Red Light, Green Light. The final scene also teases new cast members. Three players — Player 096, Player 100, and Player 353 — are briefly shown but remain unidentified. Their obscured faces hint at the introduction of new survivors or major characters in the upcoming season. Squid Game 2 (Credits: Netflix) With season 3 confirmed, fans are already speculating about how these eerie dolls and new players will shape the next chapter of Squid Game . What are your theories about Cheol Su’s role in the next game and the new players’ identities, who could join season 3? #SquidGame #LeeJungJae #LeeByungHun #RedLightGreenLight #SquidGameseason2

  • The busking capital of South Korea, Hongdae & why it is a must-go on your Seoul trip!

For a long time now, Hongdae has been a popular destination for locals and tourists alike when they visit Seoul. This article will focus on why Hongdae should be on your MUST-do list for places to visit in Seoul this year! What can I say, Hongdae is a cultural and culinary destination that is not to be missed on your trip to Seoul. Many Korean celebrities can also be spotted here occasionally, and the area has also been featured in many travel series, dramas, and music videos ! Hongdae has so much going for it, not only is it located in central Seoul, it has a variety of clubs, bars, restaurants, and street performances, not to mention the thrift stores and photoshops! Due to its foreigner-friendly atmosphere, Hongdae has not only attracted many international visitors, but also locals. I have visited the area countless times, especially when I lived in Seoul. For me, it is one of the places where you can get Western food, and there is a great Mexican restaurant, though if you are after something more local, then KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) and beer will be around on most streets! In the afternoon on weekends, and during the evenings, you will also notice lots of buskers and street performers playing to crowds, which for me makes the atmosphere feel alive! Located nearby are some of the major universities in Seoul, and as a result it offers a younger demographic. Regardless of your taste in music or food, there will be a place for you to go. I recently discovered a rooftop bar that boasted a large cocktail menu and offered a fantastic view of the city. If you are like me, and you like people watching, then you will be in for a treat! At the end of the night, it is obligatory to visit one of the areas many photo studios. For me this concept is strange as these days everybody has a smart phone. however the fun loving feel good concept is a great factor, and I think it's great to try on all of the different costumes and accessories and not to mention the price is cheap as well. There are many different studios in the area which all offer something slightly different. How to get here: Hongik Univ. Station (line 2, exit 9). Turn left at the road just in front of the station exit and walk straight. At the 2nd cross street, you will reach Hongdae Shopping Street (i.e. Eoulmadang-ro). 1 min walk. Hongik Univ. Station (AREX Airport Railroad / Gyeongui–Jungang Line, exit 7). Turn right upon the station exit and cross the street in front. The start of Hongdae Shopping Street (i.e. Eoulmadang-ro) is on your right. 20m. Let us know in the comments below if you have been or will be visiting Hongdae this year, and tag us in your photos! #hongdae #busking #Seoultrip #funthingstodo #seoulevents
