The plot of the story focuses on the two twins which live totally different lives. Mi Rae has a stable job in the mega city of Seoul, and Mi Ji is still trying to figure out her life while taking on various part time jobs to support herself along the way. As the show progresses, the storyline also gets more interesting when the twins decide it's time to swap life's with each other. South Korean indie rock band, Wave to Earth , brought the 0.03 Tour to Orlando, FL, with back-to-back sold-out shows at the House of Blues on June 11 and 12, 2025. Originally scheduled for October 10th, 2024, the rescheduled performance only heightened anticipations, and they did not disappoint! Read on for more exclusive concert photos and more! Wave to Earth Orlando did not disappoint! The band, consisting of lead vocalist and guitarist Kim Daniel , drummer Shin Donggyu , and bassist Cha Soonjong , debuted in 2019 with their single “Wave" . Since then, they have created a unique sound, mixing elements of indie rock with jazz and lo-fi. The Show Begins! The night began with the instrumental "Are You Bored?" , a captivating opener that flowed seamlessly into “Play With Earth!” . From the first strum of the guitar, the crowd was instantly drawn in. Bright white lights illuminated both the band and the audience, creating a mesmerizing, almost angelic atmosphere that perfectly complemented the band’s dreamy, groovy vibe. Fans in the front began singing every word as if it were their private concert, while others swayed in the back, taking it all in with friends and partners. Highlights from the set included fan favorites “Bad” and “Annie" .  Fans were enchanted from the first guitar strum! Each song melted into the next with barely a pause in between. The transitions were so smooth that if you weren’t paying close attention, you might not have realized one song ended and another began. Once “Love" began, the whole crowd erupted with screams, and phones lit up the venue as everyone rushed to capture the moment.  As the night came to a close, the band began to tease the crowd, saying “Beck” as their final song of the night. After dimming the stage lights, one by one, the members left the stage. The fans immediately started chanting, “Encore! Encore!". Moments later, Wave to Earth rushed back to the stage with a powerful three-song encore featuring "Wave” , “Seasons” , and “Pink” ! Megan is only 19 years old, and she is half Chinese and half Singaporean. She is a part of the multinational K-pop group KATSEYE , which is a part of HYBE and Geffen Records. Megan is known for her impressive dance routines and rapping ability. How did this become news? During her livestream on June 6, 2025, Megan publicly came out as bisexual. In 2025, being bisexual may seem pretty common to most, however, this news sent ripples through the K-pop world. Why? Megan is now the second member of the group to openly share her sexual identity after bandmate Lara , and in a very religious and conservative country like Korea, the news can be a make-or-break when it comes to retaining her public idol status and fans. What are fans saying on social media? Band mate Lara's reaction Lara expressed, "It can be scary, especially with the barrier of being a person of color," but added, "I am proud of myself." She thanked the many people and fans who support her, saying, "I am proud of myself. I am not ashamed at all. It's a part of who I am." What are the potential consequences? Sadly, in Korea there are a whole variety of potential consequences for coming out as LGBTQ+ , such as career risks and loss of contracts. Due to heavy company control K-pop agencies have over idols—including their personal lives, mean potential dating bans, and less public interaction, including on social media in order to retain a controlled image of the member. There can also be difficulties in securing contracts for openly gay artists in Korea, and some artists have to self fund or rely on crowdfunding platforms in order to put on shows and events in a bid to retain their idol status. Loss of fans International K-pop fans are very often supportive when a member of a K-pop group comes out openly as part of the LGBTQ+ community, however, it is not the same at home in Korea. The Korean audience has strong conservative views when it comes to same sex relations, and when idols come out, Korean K-pop fans step away and turn their back on artists. This then leads to loss of endorsements, public appearances, and sometimes cancellation . Changing attitudes While there are no legal anti-discrimination laws when it comes to protecting LGBTQ+ individuals in Korea, attitudes are slowly changing. As more Koreans become globally connected and better travelled, younger Koreans' minds tend to open up. This can also be said for LGBTQ+ TV appearances of characters, which all contribute to public awareness and acceptance. Their conversation covered the highlights and challenges artists encounter in the music industry, the pressures of social media, and also included discussions about Sunny's latest single and future projects. Let's get into it! Career and Background Sunny, you started your musical journey quite young, can you tell us about that early experience and how it shaped your decision to pursue music professionally? Sure, so honestly, I started out doing a lot of sports, and I was a huge athlete growing up. I feel that sports heavily influenced my music, since it taught me discipline and persistence, as well as the experience of performing in a match, which is similar to performing musically on stage. I feel that these skills are transferable between the two industries. I wanted to pursue music more than sports, and sports helped me gain confidence and understand that performing music on stage requires a lot of energy and rhythm. So, this is how I was able to transition into music full-time. You've built a significant following on platforms like TikTok and YouTube. How has social media influenced your career as an independent artist, both positively and negatively? Since social media is heavily influential and therefore has a lot of power over people's perceptions, this is one of the challenges that I have faced. This sometimes affects my mindset and plans for music, as it distracts me slightly and causes some insecurities, since it is easy to compare myself to the success of other artists who have more experience. That said, it has taught me to focus on doing my own thing as an independent artist, as opposed to chasing perfection. However, social media does provide new information daily and offers me a lot of insight into the music industry. TikTok did not significantly feature my music, which caused me to feel slightly disappointed, since my most viral videos on TikTok were focused on dancing rather than music, which didn't seem to do as well and therefore didn't give me the recognition that I set out for. Now, I am fully transitioning all of my social media accounts back to music, and the good side of this is that it has allowed me to learn more about myself and what I want to focus on as an artist, being able to learn from other artists and getting public feedback from my online audience. Inspiration and Influences You've mentioned Justin Bieber as a major influence. What specifically about his artistry resonates with you, and how do you see those influences reflected in your own music? For sure, Justin Bieber is my main major influence. For me, he was like the founding father, and listening to him kick-started my music career. His voice is amazing, and it made me strive for star quality, since his voice is very distinctive and he also started out in music at a young age. I feel that Justin Bieber conveys strong messages through the delivery of his voice and lyrics, and he is the best performer that I know. He has really just taught me to stay true to who I am and not lose focus. Recent Single "DEJA VU" Congratulations on your recent single, "DEJA VU". What's the story or inspiration behind this particular track? What message do you hope listeners take away from it? I had a previous single called "Nostalgic", and I always feel reminiscent about the past, looking back at what made me who I am today. The reason why I am focusing on the early 2000s is because I am now 25 years old, and the best days of my life were when I was growing up and "coming of age." "DEJA VU" brings back the memories of finding my first love, and I tried to lyrically make it relatable to the audience, since everybody experiences déjà vu from time to time. I also tried to diversify the song with more rhythmic beats as well, to allow the audience to take away the message that finding love is one of the most special feelings in the world, but not to let it distract you, and instead to self-reflect and grow from it. "SITUATIONSHIP" Your song "SITUATIONSHIP" resonates with a very common modern dating experience. Can you elaborate on what inspired you to write about this particular dynamic, and what emotions or insights did you hope to capture in the song? Honestly, this type of song had zero meaning behind it. Although some people might think that this artist has gone through a lot in the past or is a player, the truth is, I remember when I was making the song, just playing around with a bunch of chords in the studio. The first thing that came out of my mouth was, "Dynamite, girl, your body ooh like dynamite." The producer was really impressed, so we then built off of that melody, and it then evolved to "the situation." However, it needed another syllable, which is where "ship" came into the mix and ultimately made a great song. The song as a whole is about navigating yourself through the various stages of finding out what you want in love as you grow up, and about not trying to label things from friendship to love, as I feel that it restricts you. Future Plans Looking back at your journey so far, what's one piece of advice you would give to other aspiring young musicians trying to break into the industry? I think everything comes from hard work, and you really have to believe in yourself and ask yourself, "Would you do this for free?" As for me, it's all about charity, as I want to make people feel good through listening to my music. So, honestly, be open about music and don't make sacrifices if you are not comfortable, as people want to see you for who you are as an independent artist. What can we expect from Sunny Lukas shortly? Absolutely. The music videos for "DEJA VU" and "ROLE MODEL" will be released soon. Alongside this, I will be touring in the US and China, and I will also be going to the Philippines, Singapore, and Indonesia for promotional work.
