Prepare for your new autumn obsession as Dojeon proudly crowns Green Mile Coffee the Café of the Month, a tranquil Seoul sanctuary where your next coffee adventure awaits amidst the breathtaking beauty of a crisp fall day. Let's check it out!

This café has made it to the top of the list for Dojeon's September Café of the Month for good reason! Nestled in the heart of the picturesque Bukchon Hanok Village in central Seoul, Green Mile Coffee is a gateway to the city's most breathtaking views.
Not only does it boast a lot of charm, but the traditional décor is a real treat for locals and travelers alike. The secret of this place is the rooftop terrace, where you can enjoy a perfectly crafted coffee and take in the panoramic hanok roofs and the beautiful Seoul skyline.
If you're looking for a truly unforgettable coffee experience that combines exceptional drinks with a view that captures the soul of Seoul, Green Mile Coffee is an absolute must-visit!

Stepping into Green Mile Coffee is an experience in itself! The first floor is where the magic begins, and I was immediately captivated by their unique order system. Instead of a boring receipt number, they hand you a stylish wooden tag—it totally reminded me of a vintage hotel key! It's such a cool, personal touch that sets the tone for the whole visit. A great thing about Seoul is that it is full of unique and special cafes that have their own unique style, which is often hard to find these days in European cities due to the amount of chains.
Once you've got your drink, make your way up to the second floor. It's a total sanctuary! The entire space is beautifully designed with a clean, Japanese-inspired aesthetic, which is a hidden gem in itself. Everything from the warm wooden surfaces to the minimalist furniture is arranged to create a sense of calm and spaciousness, and personally, a style I really like, as it showcases East Asia's unique styles.
I am a sucker for sunlight, and here it was streaming in through the big windows, making the whole room feel light and airy. What I loved most was the peaceful atmosphere; it was so tranquil, with people speaking in hushed tones, making it the perfect escape from the city buzz, which is often at times hard to get away from.
I have to say that the barista's English level was also on point, which made it, of course, easier to order for travelers, and the all round vibe of the place is just amazing! Depending on the time of day that you visit, it can become more full, however I went around 2pm on a weekday, so it was less busy, though on the weekends it does fill u early!

The coffee at Green Mile Coffee was an absolute delight, perfectly brewed to create a rich and satisfying flavor that truly hit the spot, as a coffee lover myself . The friendly staff, with their warm smiles and welcoming attitude and friendly smile which led for a more enjoyable experience. I often find the smaller and independent coffee shops stand out for their level of service and attention to detail.
If you are in the area, and you are looking for a great fall coffee shop to visit, with a mix of traditional and modern culture, then this is the place to be.
