From NCT Jaehyun to SEVENTEEN Jeonghan: Is your bias on this list?

The wait is almost over, K-pop fans! 2026 is officially here, and it marks the long-awaited homecoming for some of our most beloved K-idols. After nearly two years of waiting, we are finally ready to swap our countdown apps for concert tickets and drama premieres. Let's take a look at some of the hottest names in the K-idol industry who will be returning to the limelight!
Starting the Year Strong
The year has already kicked off with a bang as OMEGA X’s Sebin and VIXX’s Hyuk led the first wave of discharges in January. Fans of iKON should also mark February 12th on their calendars, as Song Yunhyeong is set to make his highly anticipated return to civilian life. Here at Dojeon, we are really excited to see what music they release!
The May 3rd Double Return
May 3rd is said to be a key date this year when it comes to K-pop. Fandom, get ready, as both NCT’s Jaehyun and Kim Wooseok will be finishing their service on the same day! Yes, you heard it here first! These two stars are expected to hit the ground running with solo projects and music that we’ve been craving since they enlisted.
June’s Big Names
The Summer season is all about upbeat, catchy melodies to make you feel good and get you moving! As we head into the summer of 2026, the excitement peaks with the return of SEVENTEEN’s Jeonghan and Kim Woojin in late June. Seeing the first SEVENTEEN member complete his service will be a monumental moment for CARATs worldwide. Will SEVENTEEN have the same success as BTS after their military service?
Wra,pping Up the Year
The second half of the year will see even more stars returning, including members of THE BOYZ and ONEUS, who are scheduled for late summer and autumn dates. The Dojeon team is also looking forward to Moon Jongup and several of the OMEGA X members who are reuniting with their groups just in time for the holiday season. Will this lead to some amazing new Christmas music this year?
Final Thoughts
While military service is a quiet period for the industry, the "2026 Class" of returning stars promises a massive explosion of new content and world tours, and the Dojeon team cannot wait to see what this new era brings! K-pop fans, it’s officially time to get your lightsticks ready because our favorites are coming home to reclaim their thrones!
