BTS is Back: New Album and World Tour Set for Spring 2026
ARMY, the wait is soon to be over, and we promise you, it's going to be "Smooth Like butter!" BTS has confirmed that they will reunite in Spring 2026, with a new album and world tour, and the Dojeon team is excited!
This tour and album are long overdue, since the boys have been completing their military service and focusing on their solo careers; this comeback as a group really could be a make-or-break, as the industry has changed a lot in the past couple of years.
The septet—comprising Jin, RM, V, Jimin, J-Hope, Jung Kook, and Suga- shared the exciting news during a Weverse livestream on Tuesday. This marked their first joint broadcast since September 2022, sending fans worldwide into a frenzy, and crashing a few websites of course, along the way, but we wouldn't expect anything less.
During their livestream, BTS confirmed that “We’ll be releasing a new BTS album in the spring of next year. Starting in July, all seven of us will begin working closely together on new music,” the band said in their broadcast. “Since it will be a group album, it will reflect each member’s thoughts and ideas. We’re approaching the album with the same mindset we had when we first started.”
Heading to the States
The BTS members are all heading to the United States later this month to start the recording of their highly anticipated music, but do they still have what it takes after being away and separate for so long?
This upcoming 2026 album will be their first full-length release since 2020's studio album, Be, following their 2021 Japanese compilation BTS, the Best, and their 2022 anthology, Proof. So they have a lot to live up to!
There is no doubt that the boys have a long road ahead of them, as creating a catchy and globally accepted song is no easy task, that is of course before learning all of the dance moves and concepts. However as the saying goes in Korea, were "fighting" for their success.
