"Woo to the Young to the Woo, Dong to the Geu to the Ra-mi. Hah!" Yes! We've been waiting for four years for this exciting news! Park Eun-bin is back to reprise her most-beloved role, Woo Young-woo, in Extraordinary Attorney Woo Season 2! We have all the details on what to expect!
Extraordinary Attorney Woo is Back!
The record-breaking, heart-warming story of an autistic lawyer with extraordinary skills and memory will be back gracing our screens in no time! As of the moment, the release date of the second season is still unclear since writer Moon Ji-won is "currently writing the script", an industry insider recently stated. The production company, AStory, is preparing to produce season two by drawing on the season one remake.
Extraordinary Attorney Woo ended season one with a whopping 17.5 percent viewership, which is the highest among ENA dramas to date. Right after season one ended, AStory initially set the goal of producing season two in 2024 and signed a script-writing contract with Moon Ji-won in 2023.
However, the script work was delayed along with the casting schedule. Park Eun-bin, who stars in the show, also stated that she "hasn't received any contact about casting".
AStory believes the production of the season one remake will have a positive impact on the production of season two.
"We are pursuing remakes in the United States, Japan, and Europe, and we plan to directly take charge of the entire process from pre-production to adaptation and organization abroad," an AStory official said. "This global project could also speed up the production of Season 2."
What Extraordinary Attorney Woo is About
