On November 30th, the second day of the MAMA Awards 2022 was held in Japan and there were so many interesting performances! Upon receiving the sixth and last award of the night on behalf of all BTS members – the " MAMA Platinum ", an award given to artists who have won all 4 Daesangs at once – J–hope surprised fans by calling his older brother Jin "Hyung Seokjin " on the phone. Jin greeted ARMY warmly and announced that he will not be making any further public appearances due to his imminent enlistment into the military . He promised to come back safely and with new music. He even wished the fans to stay warm and healthy during the cold winter months. Finally, he thanked his fellow team member and the fans one last time before hanging up. ARMY was very touched by this heartwarming moment, which inspired another big wave of love towards BTS, in particular towards J–hope and Jin for their thoughtfulness. Quick Summary Park Se Yeon ( Ha Ji Won ) is adamant about Yoo Jae Heon ( Kang Na Neul ) working in the hotel, so she gives him a position in the laundry room since he insists on working there. Because of trying to give Jae Heon more opportunities and become more integrated with the family, Se Yeon decides to give him a chance at promoting the hotel through a social media campaign. The campaign goes well and the hotel sees more customers coming in through their doors. While working at the campaign booth, Jae Heon bumps into Song Hyo Jin ( Jung Eugene ), an airline stewardess and close friend of Se Yeon. Hyo Jin recognizes Jae Heon from a rent-a-boyfriend app she used to get rid of a stalker from a couple of episodes earlier and asks to have coffee with him. Jae Heon is surprised and is trying to cover his job as acting as Ja Geum Soon's grandson and tells her he's just working a part-time job at the hotel. Meanwhile, Jung Sang Cheol's underling, Jang Tae Joo, is curious why he is dismissed from the assignment of finding Geum Soon's real grandson in China and sets out to find him. When the two meet, Tae Joo realizes that the person Sang Cheol hired is really an actor so he decides to buy Ri Moon Seong's (the real grandson) passport from a local Korean-Chinese gangster. They head back to South Korea in hopes to get rewarded. At the end of the episode, Song Hyo Jin bumps into Park Se Yeon at the hotel lobby, where Yoo Jae Heon has finished his promotional event. The two argue about Hyo Jin meeting an "acquaintance" (Yoo Jae Heon) and Se Yeon tells her that he is her cousin from North Korea. There are several flashbacks of instances when Se Yeon and Jae Heon were hanging out but she found him a little strange in certain situations. Her eyes widen as she realizes that she and her family have been tricked! What will happen? The ending has us all wondering what will happen between Ha Ji Won and Kang Ha Neul now that she knows the truth about him pretending to be her cousin! It also reveals the real reason why Song Joong Ki 's character, Jin Do Jun, is so adamant about going against his grandfather! We'll break it down for you! During the 1998 International Monetary Fund (IMF) crisis, Jin Do Jun is still a 20-year-old law student at Seoul National University. In order to hide his identity from his grandfather to secretly invest in multiple businesses to achieve his end goal, he partners up with a global investment company, Miracle Investments, run by Oh Se Hyun, a Korean-American investor who specializes in mergers and acquisitions. In episode 5, South Korea's largest automaker, Ajin Motors, is in a debt crisis and needs to lay off most of its employees, one of them being, Jin Do Jun's real father. We find out that the reason why Jin Do Jun's real mother passed away was from the stress of Do Jun's father being laid off and couldn't support his family. In order to save his real father from losing his job and his mother from passing away, Do Jun's motivation to secure Ajin Motors with an employee buyout and acquisition is the only way to save his family. But the ending also leaves us wondering if Do Jun actually did save his mother? Tiffany gets more airtime! Episode 5 also gives Tiffany Young more dialogue and airtime!
