  • "The Judge from Hell" Season 2 Officially Confirmed: Park Shin Hye and Kim Jae Young Set to Return!

The Judge from Hell Official Poster (Credits: SBS) The wait is finally over— The Judge from Hell  is returning for a second season! The official confirmation came from the CEO of the production team during a recent award speech at the New York Festivals TV & Film Awards, where the drama won a Bronze Award. In the CEO’s own words : We will be back soon with Season 2. As long as the law is unfair, The Judge from Hell will never stop. That one line was enough to send fans into celebration mode. With Park Shin Hye and Kim Jae Young expected to return, expectations are higher than ever. The Judge from Hell Still (Credits: SBS) How The Judge from Hell  Ended In the finale, Kang Bit Na, the possessed judge bound by demon Justitia, is given a painful choice—either send 10 more sinners to hell or return to her position in the underworld as Bael’s heir. Surprisingly, she decides to remain in the human world, hinting at her intention to punish ten more sinners. But the final scene is ambiguous. Some fans believe she may have also accepted Lucifer’s offer to become fully human and be with Han Da-on. The show leaves her fate open-ended, sparking debates online. The Ratings Say It All Season 1 didn’t just trend—it dominated. It closed out with the highest finale ratings for any 2024 drama, and that’s no small feat. From fan-favorite scenes to thought-provoking court battles, the show had everything viewers love in a K-drama. It also earned major awards, including: Best Couple (Park Shin Hye × Kim Jae Young) Top Excellence Actor (Kim Jae Young) Director’s Award for innovative storytelling This recognition only strengthens fans' belief that Season 2 has massive potential. The Judge from Hell Still (Credits: SBS) What to Expect in Season 2 The Season 1 finale left several questions unanswered, fueling fan theories about the direction of Season 2: Bit Na’s emotional transformation —She started as a cold, cruel judge, but by the end, she showed human emotions like guilt, empathy, and even tears. Could these emotions threaten her identity as a judge in Season 2? Will her humanity become her weakness?  Her bond with Da On could bring conflict between justice and love. A darker arc ahead?  If she accepted Bael’s deal in secret, she might eventually be forced back to hell—or become its ruler. There's also buzz about introducing new supernatural entities or even a rival judge who challenges Bit Na’s authority. The Judge from Hell Still (Credits: SBS) When Can We Expect Season 2? While there’s no confirmed premiere date, industry trends suggest a late 2025 or early 2026 release . Since the team has already confirmed their return, production updates should follow soon. • K-Drama tour that'll take you from from Seoul to Busan!

Do you love K-dramas? If so, you should consider booking the K-drama tour from Seoul to Busan this summer! He highlight the best and most-popular K-drama locations that you must visit if you're a K-drama fan! Photo: K-Drama tour from Seoul to Busan. With K-culture taking over the world in popularity in recent years. K-drama has, of course, become a much-loved part of many homes around the world, outside its native Korea. For 2024 the Korean Government has announced that it plans to attract more foreign tourists to Korea in order to cash in on this popularity, but also try and get back to the pre-pandemic tourism numbers. Recently, a K-drama tour from Seoul to Busan was announced and it caught my attention and I wanted to find out more! Let's take a look at the cool set locations! Scene from "Train to Busan" (Next Entertainment World) With there being so many different shooting locations to visit in Korea, you are able to customize your tour to suit your schedule, budget, and interest. The tour, if you want, can last up to 10 days! For me, I think 10 days is too long and I would want to only have a 1 night 2 day tour. Of course the itinerary means that when you have place in mind, you are able to do a self tour, by finding the way to locations and planning everything yourself, which is something that I would be inclined in doing. That way, it not only could work out cheaper, but it also gives flexibility and you can go at your own pace. Take a look at some must-see places on the way! Photo: Seoul to Busan travel Map - K-drama The K-drama tour which takes you from the North to the very South of the country will also allow you to see many places off the beaten track, where mainly locals will tend to go. This is a perfect way to gain a better understanding of what makes Korea tick, and a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of the city for a day or two. This for me, makes a more cultured and interesting trip to the country. Search your favorite K-dramas and hop on the KTX which is the super fast bullet train that connects most if the country at an affordable price! With many dramas coming out in 2024, this is the perfect time to embark on a tour! Let us know your thoughts in the comments below. • Discover this hidden nature gem within Seoul's hustle and bustle and why it's a must-visit!

Located in the heart of Seoul, is an escape from the bustle of city life, without having to leave the city. Seoul Forest holds a special place in Dojeon team member, Lewis', heart and he tells you why you must visit this hidden nature gem when visiting Seoul! Photo: Seoul Forest A great thing about Seoul Forest for me is that it is easy to access from any of the subway lines in central Seoul, and nearby are many bars, cafes, and restaurants since it is close to a big university area. Popular K-drama "My Demon" was filmed in Seoul Forest! (SBS) Although you can purchase drinks at a convenience store and vending machines while you are at Seoul Forest, I would strongly advise bringing a drink with you, and perhaps some snacks as the places you can purchase them on-site are few and far between, especially in the summer months. Photo: Seoul Forest Seoul Forest is also home to some deer, which you can look at close up, which is a fantastic experience. Don't worry, they are fenced off. Next to the deer, you will also notice some rabbits, guinea pigs, and other fluffy friends to enjoy your time with! If animals are not for you, and you would rather soak in the atmosphere, you can enjoy walking around its seasonal maze, lake, and bamboo area. Not only, do I find these spots peaceful and photogenic, but I also find them an escape from normal life. Photo: Seoul Forest Throughout the forest, you will notice outdoor exercise equipment and many benches to stop and rest at. Each time I have been to Seoul Forest I have always come back home with a smile. I think it is great to have so much nature in the heart of the city, and when you are in Seoul Forest, it does not feel like you are in the middle of a mega city. Seoul Forest is completely free, which means there is no admission fee! This makes visiting here even more enjoyable! Fun facts: Seoul Forest, officially opened on June 18, 2005, covering an area of 350,000 ping. Seoul Forest used to be the king's hunting ground and parade ground. After experiencing environmental changes and artificial transformation, it has been used as a racecourse and golf course. Because of its good ecological environment, it was selected as the first tap water source in Seoul. Seoul Forest has 5 rich and diverse theme parks, namely "Culture and Art Park", "Ecological Garden", "Wetland Ecological Garden", "Nature Experience Learning Park", and "Han River Waterside Park". A large-scale lawn has also been developed in Seoul Forest, covering an area of 8,000 ping, as a resting place for citizens and tourists. The forest area reaches 45,000 pings for wild animals to inhabit, and you can see many wild animals here. Among them, there are also outdoor stages for performances and events. Let us know in the comments below if you have visited Seoul Forest before, and tag us in your photos! #SeoulForest #UrbanForest #getaway

  • Visiting Seoul? Head to Namsan Tower for unforgettable views across this mega city! [K-drama Location]

Namsan Tower is something not to be missed when you take a trip to Seoul! In fact, it's a beautiful landmark with great city views. Around this well-known tower, you can find peaceful spots where you can relax and soak in the natural beauty! Follow Dojeon team member Lewis as he shows you the ins and outs of this renowned K-drama location! Photo: Lewis Hooper For me before coming to Seoul, Namsan Tower was somewhere that I really wanted to visit. I had heard that it had insane panoramic views over the mega city, and I was not disappointed! You can opt to take a regular bus to the base of the tower, however I decided to hike up, which took around 1 hour, and I have to say this led for some amazing rest stops on the way! I would suggest if you do decide to hike up, to take a drink with you as there is no store or vending machine on the way up. Photo: Lewis Hooper Take your special someone to one of the scenic areas in Namsan Seoul Tower, to the proposal staircase, or if you don't have anyone special to take with you, don't worry, it is still a great photo spot! Even though I did not put a lock on the staircase or wall, it still was a special moment for me, as the view and the stories behind some of the locks were very touching, as I have also seen this spot on many photos before going myself. I also found it really peaceful as I arrived there mid morning. I would suggest heading there earlier in the day to avoid crowds, especially if you are planning to take the cable car, as on the weekend or afternoons there tends to be a bigger crowd. Photo: Lewis Hooper There are of course cafes, a convenience store, restaurants and bars at the top of Namsan mountain, and the tower, of course. I did not pay to go to the top of the tower, however I found there was plenty to do around the base. If you are after an extra special view, then I have heard that the view from the observatory is really good. For me getting a coffee and looking down at the vast array of buildings was enough. The art work and sculptures alike also made for many great photos which to this day I still look back at. Photo: Lewis Hooper Don't worry if you don't like heights, the area is secured and the cable car is quick and safe. Of course for a perfect evening view over the heart of Seoul, its recommended to head to the top of Namsan Tower for sunset for incredible views and memories. Click on the link below for more information: https://www.seoultower.co.kr/en Getting there: You can first take a free shuttle bus which will drop you off in front of Seoul Tower Plaza. From Myeongdong Station (line 4, exit 1), take the half-hourly Shuttle Bus Service (operating hours 12:00 – 20:30) with “Namsan Cable Car” sign to Namsan Cable Car Station. Address to the cable car: 83, Sopa-ro, Jung-gu, Seoul (Hoehyeondong 1-ga) (Korean: 남산케이블카) Price: Adult KRW 13,000 (round trip) / KRW 10,000 (1 way). • The Only Mall In Seoul You Need To Visit!

#thehyundaiseoul #thehyundai #travelseoul Firmly situated in the financial and banking district of Seoul, Yeouido Island, stands already been an iconic landmark since its unveiling in 2021. At the peak of COVID, The Hyundai Seoul defies all odds amidst a struggling South Korean economy and the COVID-19 crisis. Here's why The Hyundai Seoul should be the only mall you need to visit when you're in Seoul! The indoor forest of The Hyundai Seoul (Retail Asia) Built on "Department Store Cemetery" Yeouido is an unusually bad area for department stores and malls. If you didn't know, department stores contain no windows versus malls are shopping areas with windows! Nicknamed "The Tomb of Department Stores", Yeouido is not known to have a huge population of residents and has nearby competition including the IFC Mall with an Apple store and Shinsegae Times Square . These two factors create a huge disadvantage to malls on this small island, which is also pretty difficult to get to since it's not in a popular shopping area. The Little Mall That Could When the Hyundai executive board members decided to name this amazing piece of architecture, they did not go with the mall's location such as "Yeouido" or "Department Store" in the name. They went with just "The Hyundai Seoul". The reason being since this mall was unveiled during the height of the COVID pandemic, most people could not travel outside of the country. The people at Hyundai decided to build a mall for the people of Korea. The Hyundai Seoul 's main target customers are Koreans! In fact, 50% of its customers are from Busan and Daegu, 36% are from Gyeong-gi provence, and only 24% are Seoul citizens! What makes The Hyundai Seoul defy all odds during an economic downturn is its business model. It isn't your traditional mall. White and pristine with a lot of "wasted space", this mall caters to the early 20's and 30's generation. Long gone are the malls that are for your moms and dads with extra cash. Gen Z also has their own cash and is willing to spend it any way they want! With lightning-fast wifi connection, tons of Instagram-friendly locations, over 3,000 social media post mentions per day, and a profit of over $1 million per day, The Hyundai Seoul is a remarkable mall that could! One of many Instagram locations inside The Hyundai Seoul (Amazing Instagram-friendly Laurus Blanc cafe!) Amazing Decor The Hyundai Seoul is truly unique in its architecture and design! The largest shopping mall in Seoul, covering the size of 13 football fields, houses over 600 shops on 6 floors with a glass roof letting in natural sunlight and an indoor forest! The Art of Curation Like the attention spans of Gen Z, The Hyundai Seoul has perfected the art of curation. With brands familiar to Gen Z splattered everywhere within its walls, it is hardly your mom and pop's mall. Up-and-coming fashion brands and even food trucks are changed every several months following Korea's constant change in taste and trends! Check out our article on NewJeans' pop-up store here! Make sure you're insured everywhere you go! Visit SafteyWing  for more details on how you can protect yourself and your loved ones whenever you travel! So what are you waiting for? • The BEST Kimchi Jjigae (Kimchi Stew) you will find in Seoul!

I have a confession to make. I have been gatekeeping the best (in my opinion) kimchi jjigae (김치찌개) restaurant in Seoul, well not really I've taken a few friends with me here but since I'm leaving Korea I'm going to share it with you all and share the joy and love I feel while sipping that jjigae. Sarang Dameun Braised Pork with Aged Kimchi Stew, Jayang Branch Firstly, kimchi jjigae is a passion of mine. There's just something so heartwarming about drinking that hot soup on a cold or rainy day or any day for that matter. Kimchi Jjigae is one of Korea's most notable broth-based dishes. It is excellently featured on the Netflix Documentary show A Nation of Broth episode 3! The show beautifully captures the essence of Korean cuisine in its broth-based dishes, by informing viewers of the histories behind the broths, and the ingredients and hard work that goes into the preparation of these soul-warming soups! Here is a link to the trailer of the show: https://www.netflix.com/kr-en/title/81607869 I have tried and reviewed many many many places around Seoul but the one that has stolen my heart forever is: Drum roll, please! Sarang Dameun Braised Pork with Aged Kimchi Stew ( 사랑 담은 묵은지찜찌개 자양점) which actually translates to "Aged Kimchi Stew filled with Love, Jayang Branch" Link to restaurant Naver Location: https://naver.me/GSiU0mBe This kimchi jjigae is made with aged kimchi which makes the flavor even richer and the meat (pork from which you can choose more fat or meat pieces) is tender and just works so well with the dish overall. The highlight of this dish for many is the ramyeon addition at the end! The interior of the restaurant is simple, but we love it! You will not regret trying this place! The owners at the Jayang Branch are a very kind and friendly husband and wife! They are always smiling and welcoming! Oh, I forgot the banchan (반찬) ! The side dishes work perfectly too (marinated garlic, red radish, and salted mung bean sprouts) alongside a warm bowl of rice. For only 10,000 won (USD 7.50), this place is a winner! There are also a few other branches around Korea! Bubbling Kimchi JJigae with Ramyeon from 사랑 담은 묵은지찜찌개 자양점 Make sure you're insured everywhere you go!
