Even after death, some spirits still refuse to rest despite being buried. Arang and the Magistrate breathe new life into an age-old Korean folktale, following Arang (Shin Min-ah), a headstrong ghost desperate to uncover who ended her life too soon. Enter Eun-oh (Lee Joon-gi), a skeptical magistrate with a rare gift — he can see the dead.

That's not all! What actually starts as a quest for justice takes some sharp spiraling turns into a breathtaking adventure with mysterious Sharma's, vengeful spirits, and devil gods.

This Halloween drama has a blend of humor and banter along the way, which is why this is a binge-watch drama this Halloween!

📺 Stream it now on Apple TV+, Prime Video, Viki, Kocowa, or OnDemandKorea.

This drama may sound like a blessing in disguise; however, this is far from the truth. It is, in fact, a curse with a haunting yet beautiful storyline behind it.

Kim Shin (Gong Yoo), a noble warrior is condemned to wander the earth as a Dokkaebi — a goblin bound by eternity. His only salvation? A mortal “bride” destined to end his immortal suffering by pulling the sword from his heart.

Later in the series, he meets Ji Eun-tak (Kim Go-eun), a spirited young woman who can see ghosts, and fate takes an unexpected turn. Between their bittersweet connection, a grim reaper with a tragic past, and the ever-present shadow of destiny, Goblin weaves a tale that’s as heart-wrenching as it is breath-taking, and because of this, it has cemented itself as a household Korean classic Halloween K-drama. If you are after a romantic yet creepy Halloween this year, then this drama is a must for you!

📺 Stream it on Viki.

Kingdom (2019-2020)

Kingdom is a drama which we are almost certain you have heard of, and of course, this drama takes you to the famous Joseon era of Korea, which was not actually overrun by ghosts, but something which is a lot more terrifying.

When a mysterious plague begins resurrecting the dead as flesh-hungry monsters, Crown Prince Lee Chang (Ju Ji-hoon) must fight to uncover the truth behind the infection — and the sinister politics festering within his father’s royal court. Sounds simple? Then think again!

This drama is full of sword fights, which will keep you on the edge of your seat, and pulse-pounding horror! Against all odds, every episode pushes you far deeper into a world where the line between monster and man becomes finer and finer.

Kingdom is more than a zombie thriller — it’s a haunting reflection on power, greed, and survival. A Halloween must-watch this year!

📺 Stream it now on Netflix.

A Korean Odyssey (2017-2018)

Last on our Halloween must-watch list is A Korean Odyssey. This drama contains some scenes of romance, but also a world full of spirits that collide with the human world!

A Korean Odyssey reimagines the classic Chinese tale Journey to the West with a wickedly modern twist that is enjoyable and easy to follow.

The story homes in on Son Oh-gong (Lee Seung-gi), a mischievous and powerful spirit bound by fate to protect Jin Seon-mi (Oh Yeon-seo), a woman cursed with the ability to see ghosts. They aim to work out how they are going to navigate through a world with supernatural forces and demons!

The chemistry between Lee Seung-gi and Oh Yeon-seo burns slowly but heats up as the series progresses, and it leaves that classic touch of a successful K-drama and classic love story.

📺 Stream it on Viki.
