Which Members Have Left the Group?
In the last couple of years, several members of NCT have officially left the group. Taeil was the first member to leave the group on August 28, 2024, following SM Entertainment's announcement regarding criminal allegations. Following Taeil was Mark Lee, who left the group on April 8, 2026, following the end of his contract.
Most recently, Winwin officially left NCT and SM Entertainment on July 9, 2026, to focus on his individual work. Although Ten also concluded his exclusive contract with SM Entertainment in 2026, he has not officially left NCT, with discussions about future group activities continuing. The question is, does this really work, and can he have the best of both worlds?
Why Are Members Leaving?
NCT fans and the Dojeon Media team have been asking the same question: Why are members leaving? Although most of the members have left due to their contracts ending and to pursue solo work, surely NCT's success is safer than the unknown, harsher world of solo work?
