The Seoul Festa 2026 is about to transform Seoul into a sprawling, multi-sensory stage from April 30 to May 5. This city-wide celebration is an event that is fun for locals and global travelers alike to enjoy everything K-content. This event also blends high-tech spectacles with the timeless beauty of the Han River in bloom. The Dojeon team hopes to be there, and we cannot wait for you to read more about the lineup and event!
The Heart of K-Culture
The Seoul Spring Festa this year will kick off with its one and only Wonder Show, which will be held at the World Cup Stadium. Of course, there will be a star-studded lineup as well as many displays taking place throughout the day. The Dojeon team cannot wait for this year's event, as last year it really was something spectacular!
This is not all! Throughout the week, Gwanghwamun Square and Seoul Plaza will host immersive zones dedicated to K-beauty, K-fashion, and K-food, offering a look at the trends shaping the world today, which the Dojeon team has written about a lot throughout 2025, and we cannot wait to see which stalls are set up this year!
Hosts and MCs
This year's Festa promises to have a star-studded lineup. Leading the event will be the one and only Wi Ha-jun (Squid Game), joined by Gyujin of NMIXX and Jiwoo of the new group Hearts2Hearts. Their chemistry is expected to bridge the gap between the acting world and the idol industry for a global audience during the event. The Dojeon team is really excited to see how this collaboration plays out!
Best Food and Street Markets
During the Seoul Spring Festa, there will be countless Korean street food markets serving up some amazing dishes and Korean classics like tteokbokki and hotteok for you to enjoy! Not only this, but some pop-up cafes will also have a stand at the event, where you can purchase some of your favorite spring treats or simply cool off.
One of the Dojeon's favorites is the variety of international cuisine that is available in the food truck area and international zones!
Rising Stars & Special Acts
There will, of course, be established names at the Festa, but there will also be the next generation of artists as well. The Wonder Show will showcase these new talents, and the confirmed rookie acts performing will include izna, KickFlip, Hearts2Hearts, NouerA, KiiiKiii, and NEWBEAT.
This year's show will open with a unique cultural performance by Yakum Yakum, a popular creator known for performing contemporary K-pop covers on the gayageum (a traditional Korean zither), accompanied by the Seoul Metropolitan Choir and Orchestra, which we cannot wait to see!
Interactive and Family-Friendly Activities
No event would be complete without a family-friendly area and interactive zone. Seoul Spring Festa hosts many craft experiences and workshops for guests to enjoy, including hanbok try-on sessions and calligraphy lessons.
In addition, the event will showcase parades and cultural shows that celebrate Seoul's history and traditions. For us here at Dojeon Media, this is one of our favorite parts of the day. These shows make for great memories for all the family, and of course, perfect social media posts as well!
The Wonder Show (Main Concert)
The main concert at this year's event will be the Wonder Show. This will be held at the festival's marquee event, at the Yeouido Hangang Park Cascade Plaza, which is a central location in the heart of Seoul.
The first wave of confirmed artists includes the energetic boy groups NCT WISH and THE BOYZ, alongside the versatile n.SSign. The second wave expands the roster with high-profile acts like TWS, NMIXX, STAYC, and the legendary 1st-generation idols, g.o.d. Global groups like NEXZ and ALL(H)OURS are also set to perform. The Dojeon team cannot wait to see what these performances are like!
